I'd put my money on Rivers and Brees before Rodgers. But I dolike Rodgers, picked him two years straight on my fantasy team.

Hell, he put up MVP-like numbers in 2009.
As a first year starter in 2008 he put up better numbers than MVP Peyton Manning.

As a second year starter in 2009 he put up better numbers than MVP Peyton Manning.

I'm not saying Rodgers should have been MVP over Manning those years or anything like that, but I think that shows he has more than just a chance in 2010.

I think Timothy Tebow will give him a run for his money.

He was my MVP prediction last season, I will predict him to be MVP until it happens.

I'm pretty sure the momentum you refer to him picking up last season is gone at this point. He'll need new momentum in 2010.

You know it's the offseason when...

The problem arises when people use statistics like a drunk uses a lamp post: for support instead of illumination.

If luck is where preparation meets opportunity, then clutch is where failure meets luck.

i'll jump in the homerism. there's no way aaron rodgers puts up the numbers he did against the lions this year. kvb, corey williams, and possibly suh will flatten him. we'll actually be able to drop people back into coverage and generate a pass rush without blitzing 60% of the time. plus we aren't starting will james anymore. so subtract a good 400 yards and 4 touchdowns from your totals from last season, bump up the sacks by a couple, and throw in a couple interceptions.

I don't know about sacks and int's, the Packers are no bums. But he won't be able to pad his stats quite as much

true but if said that, then it wouldn't be homerism.

look at that man shoving that gigantic weiner down his throat. I bet he loves all the creamy sauce he'll probably get it all over his face but whatever. Look at his ferocious eyes as he's about to insert the weiner... hot.

Don't you have to win a playoff game before you're "the best QB in the NFL"?
