Just after we posted that Texans owner Bob McNair was convinced the Jets would be featured on HBO's Hard Knocks, the New York Daily News has learned the Jets will announce they are on the show Thursday.

Oh no. Honestly I think this would be great except Ladainian is going to use it as a chance to bash the Chargers and it's just going to end up embarrassing him.

I don't see LT actually doing this. The only time I remember him every getting upset is the N.E. playoff game. Is there more?

        SWEET!

You will be entertained by the likes of Rex Ryan, Bart Scott, KRIS JENKINS! Cant think of a better team to be on hard knocks right now. But im a homer.

This just made my day. I wish TJ was still on the team.

The last few months he hasn't been very shy about how he thought he wasn't very well used under Norv. I could see Hard Knocks kind of propelling him in that direction on camera. I don't want him to talk a big game and then come out and disappoint, he will only hurt himself and his legacy.

I couldn't see him doing it either, and I have never watched hard knocks. Did they make the Bengals do stuff they normally wouldn't do as well? Kind of push it to the limit?

Not really but LT doesn't exactly hide his feelings.

This show will rock just because of Bart and Pace. maybe we'll even get to see Vernon Gholston carrying around other player's shoulderpads!

Hopefully they feature a Cromartie family reunion.

Usually Mid August. They air 5 weeks from camp, usually behind the scenes for the first playoff game. Cuts, practices, pranks.

I think Hard Knocks is an awesome show no matter what team their showing, but it's always great when it's your favorite team. I just like to see the inside stuff, practices, pranks, stuff you can't see on ESPN.

I've always enjoyed it, Rex Ryan should have some gems this year.

A lot of personality on that team.

Agreed, I've watched every hard knocks and enjoyed them all. The Bengals season was neat for me, and possibly a little more interesting but the other ones were good as well.

The experience of seeing something that you don't normally get to see is great. However, I hope they break from their normal routine of following the 54th man on the roster and instead change it up a little bit this year. The Jets have a young QB and an entertaining coach which could make for a very entertaining 5 weeks if they choose to follow them closely.
