  • Who is the best RB in the NFL ?

Who really is the best RB in the NFL? I think it is Adrian Peterson. He has been the best for the last couple of years. Chris Johnson did get 2,000 Yards rushing but does that really make him better what do you think?

SJ, AD and CJ are the top 3 although MJD and Ray ray are right behind them. SJ is most versatile and all around talent, AD the most beastly runner and CJ the most explosive. It's all a question of what you're OL and offense is set up for.

I'd take SJ for this next season but that's a matter of preference.

Good one Peterson does fumble but so did alot of Hall Of Fame RB did too early in their career. He will get better and show that he is a HOF RB.

SJ is really good always getting 1,000 yards on a bad O-Line.

Peterson. But he really needs to fix his fumbling problem.

A bad thing about Peterson is he has a great O-Line that opens up holes. If the holes a not there then he sprints to the outside and breaks off a big gain.

Peterson is ridiculously overrated. Swap him and Steven Jackson and watch what would happen.

I gotta go with CJ2K, obviously. He was unquestionably the best RB in the NFL last season. Not only did he rush for 2,000-yards, but he also set records with his receiving by breaking the NFL record for All-Purpose Yards.

SJax and AD are great players, but if my team is going into a game it has to win or needs to make a play, I'd rather have CJ on my team and have the ball in his hands more than any other RB in the NFL.

I don't buy that argument at all. The Vikings O-Line is very overrated. Bryant McKinnie gets recognized as one of the top OT's in the league but his play on the field is average at best. Hutchinson is still solid but is not nearly the player who won Shaun Alexander the MVP. The rest of the line is mediocre. Many times when you see AD struggling, its because the penetration is getting there as soon as he touches the ball. This is not taking anything from Chris Johnson but he runs behind the best offensive line in football. A lot of times he isn't getting touched until the second level and once he reaches that second level, he's gone. If you put either AD or S-Jax in Tennessee as the starting RB, I guarantee those guys would see a rise in their production.

Chris Johnson had such a sick season, it's hard to against him. Though I think Steven Jackson isn't too far behind in second place. I love his style, and what he's done on a team with a crap OLine, and no passing game is pretty remarkable.

Pfft. Fred Jackson had more all-purpose yards than CJ this year. That's a fact!

Yards from scrimmage, yeah. Nobody is beating Johnson there. He still had the 6th most all-purpose yards of all-time without returning a single kick or punt. Unreal.

And yes, I am giggling at the fact that I said "beating johnson".

I don't think going off stats is a great thing. CJ2K has way better stats but does deffenses crowd the line because they don't know what he will do like AD? AD is like my favorite player but I also like CJ. We will get to see who will win the rushing title this year it should be quite a battle.
