  • Brett Favre Record(s) Watch

So there are 2 records that Brett Favre is likely to break this year, and a few more he could potentially get if he plays next year, too.

He's 13 sacks from being the most-sacked QB in NFL history (Elway record).

He's 7 games from from starting the most games (Bruce Matthews).

He's 5 playoff games from both having played in and started more than anyone else (Rice).

He's 446 yards from having lost the most yards from being sacked (Dave Krieg).

Pretty sure he keeps coming back to get these records, no matter notable or dubious they are...

It's his career INT rcd. that's the mega-stinker -- & it will never be broken in your lifetime.

Favre's career is bottom-heavy with this & the sacks rcds.

And although the Vikes will never admit it, his risk now outweighs his rewards with 3 offseason surgeries on that same ankle & of course his age. He's one whack on that ankle away from medical-ordered retirement. He has a big target on him & every sackmaster d-linemen in the NFL knows it.

I've said it before and got burned, but Favre's gotta start showing his age some time, I mean really show it.
