  • * Official 2010 NFL Prediction Thread

KalBear has something for just your own team.
This is everyone's chance to play "Swami". We see Athlon's and Sports Illustrated and ESPN's season predictions.
Well it's time for WE THE PEOPLE to go down on record. If you don't, then don't say, in December or January, that you knew the Vikings would go 8-8 or the Saints would miss the playoffs or that the Chiefs or Raiders would shock the AFC West, etc. Get it down on paper here, now.

(No Edits after Sept 9th. Each & Everyone can go on record right here, so there's none of this BS at the end of the season saying "oh I knew this or that".... get it down here!)

I could see the NFC north shaping up that way. Rodgers is such a stud and is only getting better. While Minnesota is the walking wounded and has a brutal schedule. I really cant see Chicago doing anything until Lovie is gone. And while I think Detroit is going to be improved and is going in the right direction, I can still only see them winning 6 or 7 games this year.

I predict that people will stop calling Matt Ryan the next Peyton Manning.

He's lucky he plays in a dome and the NFC South, which has the Metrodome and Tampa's nice warm weather, or else he'd really get exposed.

                    Manning plays in a dome...

And the Metrodome is in Minnesota... the Superdome is in New Orleans

Yes he does. And it surely helps his stat sheet. All domes do.

My bad. Regardless, playing in a division with 2 domes and warm weather minimizes a player's inability to throw a consistent deep ball.

And to go back to Peyton, it's funny you mention the dome thing. Bc one thing that nobody ever brings up is, Peyton doesn't have the biggest arm, and doesn't throw the best spiral. It's overlooked bc he's such a beast, but that always reared its head against the Pats in the playoffs in Foxboro and is never brought up as one of the reasons why he struggled up there.

I completely agree with you and it's one reason I have Brady as being the better QB between the two and a reason I think Brady's record setting season was more impressive than Manning's despite the time Manning sat out.

9 guaranteed games in a dome every year makes life easier including Reliant Stadium.

I can't see the Packers having a +24 turnover ratio again and their running game scares me, but Aaron Rodgers is just so ******* good, he's going to win one eventually.

Being the best 3rd down passer in the league is a sweet stat.

Hmmm. That's a tough one bro. Brady ran up the score on guys. I know he plays in the northeast, but he still ran up the score. Peyton never did that.

I'm gonna give the edge to Peyton in that one. Although I do agree that Tom Brady is the superior qb.
