He's trying to rally his locker room. He gave the Falcons bulletin board material. End of the day, it will mean little. Game will be decided on the field.

Ahh back from the bye week and flying to Seattle. I know the Seahawks have a lot of injuries but they always play us tough when they're at home. I'm expecting a close game but we pull the win out sometime in the 3rd quarter after our D-Line starts banging them up. We'll see if Hasselbeck plays with his concussion. I'd feel bad for Whitehurst to get his first start of the year against us.

Flying out to Seattle is def not an easy task, especially with the sucess they had had earlier in the season against the run. Seahawks are a pretty strong team at home. However, this is a game that the Giants should win. I don't think they'll destroy the Seahawks, but they should win.

That's how I'm looking at it. The Seahawks +7 at home may not be a bad bet though.

I think I'm going to stay away from that one in real life, but in my pick em league, I will likely take the points.

That line started at 5.5 or something.

I understand taking the points because of the nature of the league but the Giants are immensely better than the Seahawks on offense and defense.

I can't see Seattle scoring more than 10 points on O and if you give them 10 more on special teams (unlikely) that means you'd still have to trust them to limit the Giants to under 30 with a backup defensive line and a complete mismatch with every WR-DB matchup.

The Xs and Os all point to the Giants winning big but any given Sunday... the Seahawks can get all the bounces, execute better, and make the right play calls in key situations and get a W (or cover). I find it very unlikely though.

I LOVE the Jets to demolish the Lions. Orakpo was out/hobbled for portions of the Washington game and their defense is pretty terrible. The Jets also have a MUCH MUCH better offensive line and will just have to hope that their receivers don't play TERRIBLY for two weeks in a row. I don't even know what the line is but I think they'll win by more than 10 so I'm probably going to take them.

Correct, I think the new revived lions might actually upset the Jets.

I just like that he listed Bob Sanders on the injury report. :)
