Funny side note but his sacks this year come against the Jets, Steelers, Patriots, and Dolphins. Obviously his impact goes far beyond sacks and pressures but obviously he's a big game performer.

He is so freakishly strong and is able to move very well for his size.

He is a serious dancing bear. I wish his cousin Fili Moala was even 90% as good. Though Moala is improving this year for sure.

For once APS and his rabid homerism is accurate! Ngata is a beast.

No chance he gets DPOY over Clay Matthews though. Media loves him, and they rarely look at linemen in general.

He hasn't played much at all, but he should be. Kelly Gregg is really showing his age and I think some of our run-defense issues can be attributed to him not being what he once was. Of course Greg Mattison is completely incapable of doing anything good for our defense so I don't expect him to get much more playing time than he already is unless an injury occurs.

He is the best Dlinemen in all of football. I'm talking 3/4, 4/3, UT, NT and DE's I would take him over any other player in the NFL. I think if you put this guy in a 4/3 as a UT he could 10 plus sack.

You could play him at MIKE and he would put up 100 tackles. He's THAT good.

Ok, that's exaggerating. But he did line up at MLB for us once and thumped a RB pretty good. I think it was against the Bengals. I love when we bring him in to play TE in goal line situations, I'm waiting for him to catch his first touchdown pass.

Bunkley IMO is the best young 4-3 NT in the league, and he's got the gift of being able to man the line in any formation. I'd take him as a NT in a 3-4 if he ever hit FA...

That said, Ngata is the best young DL in the game at any position. He's just absolutely dominant. Been saying this since his rookie year, but it's really become true over the past couple seasons. Back then it was more hyperbole because the talent was so obvious and he made it show on the field. He's one of the true elite talents in the league.

Tore his Meniscus and sat out a bit. Got some decent reps last week. He should be moving into a bigger role from here on out.

He isn't as shut down as Carlos but tbh while he shouldn't be in DPOY discussion Deangelo Hall is legit a pro bowler this year. He has been a hawk on the ball and hasn't been burned much at all. Really our struggles in pass defense has been because we have no FS which kills us since we have Landry playing in the box all the time, and our linebackers forced in coverage include a converted DT/OT. And trust me I have been the biggest Dhall hater and wanted him cut before the season. For this season at least he isn't the joke of the league.

When you lead the league in INTs, you at least deserve a mention.
