  • Stevie Johnson Blames God

    for his OT drop.

Buffalo Bills receiver Steve Johnson was inconsolable after dropping an easy game-winning catch against the Steelers on Sunday (Scroll down to see the play).

After the game, the poor guy tried to talk about the painful blunder.

"How would you feel?" Johnson said. "All of a sudden, when the biggest play needs to be made, you don't make it. You feel bad. I'm devastated right now."

"I had the game in my hands and then dropped it," Johnson said. "I'll never get over it. Ever."

But after leaving the locker room, Johnson decided to tack on one more comment via Twitter - not to reporters but to someone with more authority:

"I PRAISE YOU 24/7!!!!! AND THIS IS HOW YOU DO ME!!!!! YOU EXPECT ME TO LEARN FROM THIS??? HOW???!!! ILL NEVER FORGET THIS!! EVER!!! THX THO..." - Steve Johnson Twitter

It finally happened. We've seen athletes flirt with this concept before, but it finally was implicitly said.

Are you sure he is blaming God or is he just saying he won't forget it? As in, he'll learn from it and become better for it.

      Just wondering...

Well every athlete thanks god when something good happens. The opposite should work too i think.

Yep, if you're the type of person who believes the creator of the Universe influences a football game, doesn't that mean he does good things for some players and bad for others?

When he started speaking about himself in 3rd person it definitely freaked me out, lol. Just a strange press conference, I couldn't tell if he was crying or not.

he's going through the stages. went from disbelief, pity, anger, and soon will be acceptance.

                        he's just a bit....outgoing and expressive.
