Anyway, the point is, on top of the bottom dropping out of the Vikings season, the roof of their stadium has now collapsed.

I understand how this isn't funny to a Viking fan...but, ya have to understand, your team is the laughing stock of the league.

Also, comparing a snowstorm to Hurricane Katrina just makes ya looking like a moron.
Oh, how far you have fallen. You would fit right in at footballsfuture.

I wasnt actually comparing Katrina to this snow storm, it was sarcasm. I think everyone picked up on that.

I know. I like this forum for so long because you dont get a lot of uneducated garbage being posted. But yeah it has its moments. A shame its usually the same few posters that are the root of it too.

But why not St. Louis? Seems like that would have made the most sense. The Giants are already in the state, closer to Minnesota, and the Rams are away this week.

this stadium's collapse is clearly the reason the Packers have had so many injuries

No, it's the other way around. The Stadium collapsed because the Packers have had so many injuries.

no no no, its clearly the fault of Peyton Manning being overrated.

                Note: Im being sarcastic again.

Fox crews are already in Detroit. Giants wanted quicker travel home. Detroit provides that. I also think thats why its starting at 720 and not 830.

Actually if the Rams were home then it would have been an option. A big reason Detroit was given the game apparently is FOX already have all their equipment in place for today's Lions v Packers game.
