    I mentioned it on page 1. I made an argument why we should trade Rodgers for Moss, and pick up Carr in the link below.

      How can he be Favre's replacement when he is not even on Green Bay? And I think Green Bay is a long shot to even get Carr.

        Hell freezes over before Ted Thompson wastes time with David Carr. Any football mind already knows Carr is garbage. At best he is a backup. You start this guy and make sure you are scouting the available top 10 players in the following year's draft.

            Hot rumor circulating in Houston is that David Carr will be dealt with in a week if not with in day or two. We don't know to which team yet?

            According to Rick Smith today during Matt Schaub press conference, he did say Carr will be traded. And according to his brother who posts on Texans official web site has said Carr may be dealt with in next 48 hrs.

            Seems like Carr is headed to No Cal again ....... where it all began for him.

              I think Miami would be a great fit.

                You talk about how great Sage Rosenfels is and how bad Carr is...yet how come Kubiak never started Sage over David and how come he was willing to give up picks and a move down in the draft to get another QB to be the starter and not give Sage a shot....could it be that Sage isnt really that good?

                  They should trade him to the Yankees

                    With that line? He needs protection. Browns after they draft Joe Thomas.

                      Here is the most recent article on Houston Texans and what Rick Smith and Bob McNair had to say about Carr and how they want to go about this matter.

                        Here is where Carr deserves to be;

                        Brad Childress was asked about Carr, and here is what he said:

                        I always struggled with where his release came from. It's kind of a drop-down, three-quarter release. ... He can make some of the throws; he can't make all the throws.

                            I'm hoping he comes to Oakland more than anything. Even know we have a bad line we could at least use some leadership.

                              If you look at what happened, Sage was on his way to REPLACING Carr when he got hurt. So said the Houston Chronicle

                              Sage Rosenfels would've been the Texans' starter for the final month of 2006 if he hadn't fractured his hand, according to the Houston Chronicle.

                              The Texans' staff seems to believe Rosenfels, who completed nearly 70 percent of his passes in limited action last year, is now worthy of a shot to start. We suspect it'll be against Jake Plummer and/or a first-day rookie.

                              I don't know that Sage is the answer, neither do the Texans but they were getting ready to find out when he got hurt and they had to continue (as a lost cause) with carr. Had they gotten more of a look at Rosenfels, and he impressed, Schaub would probably not be here.

                                So that should give you a clue as to how absolutely AWFUL David Carr is. When a team with nothing at QB has no interest in a 5 year vet., he's a BUM.
