One of the most complete RBs to ever play the game. He was the prototypical spread offense RB. If you could choose any RB in NFL history to run behind a spread/pass oriented offense, you would probably choose Faulk over anyone.

One thing to note though. For the guys who call him a class act, remember, he wasn't that way his whole career. He actually had an attitude problem with the Colts, but rectified it and became a team player in St. Louis. He was a class act, but he didn't come into the league that way. He learned through growing pains.

Great player, but with the knee injuries, he had not shot of returning.

I am glad that he is going out out now and not risking further injury to himself, and also don't have to see what is most likely a complete shell of his former self anyways

          The way it is

Was robbed in '99 when Warner was awarded MVP. Sure Kurt had a great season, but what Faulk did was truely something special to see. Should be a 2 time NFL MVP. The key to that great offense, could do just about anything you asked him exceptionally.

its unfortunate that he had to go like he did

it woud've been great if he could have played and then called it quits but sometimes your body doesnt agree

a truly hardworking and talented RB

                Go Ravens!

Probably the smartest former player on the NFLN.

He was on NFL Network broadcasts all last year? Did he even suit up once?

He was IR, which obviously gave him some flexibility.

He was actually robbed another time. In 92 when he was by far the best player in college football, and was jobbed out of his Heisman. They voted Gino Torreta for whatever reason. It was good to see him get rocked by Bama in the 93 Sugarbowl, but nevertheless it was a terrible injustice to one of the great players in the history of the game.

During the Greatest Show on Turf, he was so dominant and fun to watch, was there anything he couldn't do on the field? If he could still play at even half of his prime, I would sign him to my NFL team any day. Imagine his stats if he wasn't surrounded by all those other weapons, LT would have never broken his TD mark.
