  • What would your team look like w/o FA or trades?

I thought it would be interesting to see what each team would look like if you went purely off of player that your team drafted. Im talking about if you didnt lose players through trades and free agency what would your current roster look like.

Ex: For the ravens Samari Rolle, McNair, Mason all would not be included because they came in through free agency.

Do UDFAs count as FAs? If so, then the Colts would have 0 DTs. Other than that, the Colts would be pretty much the same as they are now though.

The problem arises when people use statistics like a drunk uses a lamp post: for support instead of illumination.

If luck is where preparation meets opportunity, then clutch is where failure meets luck.

          QB - Walter
          HB - Fargas
          FB - Crockett
          WR - Porter
          WR - Curry
          TE - Jolley
          T - Gallery
T - Sims(not positive if we drafted him)
          G - McQuistan
          G - Boothe
          C- Grove
          DE - Brayton
          DE - Huntley
          DT - Rod Coleman
          DT - Sands
          OLB - Howard
          OLB - Barton
          MLB - Morrison
          CB - Washington
          CB - Asumugha
          FS - Schweigert

For a team of only people we drafted, that is a pretty impressive lineup. Maybe you can start to see why I back up Al Davis?

I don't have the time to go through it right now, but I am positive the Chargers would be loaded. Off the top of my head we drafted or originally signed as UDFA's Jamal Williams, LT, Shawn Merriman, Nate Kaeding, Marcus Mcneill, Nick Hardwick, Shane Olivea, Igor Olshansky, Quentin Jammer, Drayton Florence, Michael Turner, Antonio Gates, Kris Dielman, Vincent Jackson, Luis Castillo, Shaun Phillips, Antonio Cromartie, Stephen Cooper(gonna start for us this year), Matt Wilhelm(gonna start for us this year) and Mike Scifres.

There are probably more, because I am positive a massive percentage of our team consists of players we drafted.

Also of the top of my head, we drafted Reche Caldwell, Rodney Harrison, and Junior Seau, and signed Wes Welker as a UDFA.

I doubt the Browns could even field enough men.

We are still trying to recover from the Butch Davis era, in which only 4 current starters were drafted.

                  DChess resizing inc.

                  Reality is relative.

We don't give a DAMN for the whole state of Michigan

Well the only person standing between Rex Grossman and oblivion would be Olin Kreutz.

Definitely makes the Jaguars front office look pretty smart. No big FA signings or trades. I'd be willing to bet the only teams in the league with that much home grown talent are perennial contenders.
