Nice pick up I wanted him for the Chiefs before the draft but we don't need him now the rumor was he wanted crazy money and had to take the one year deal after every body said no.

Nice pickup, as if the Eagles don't have enough DT depth. Would've been nice to see Scott in Giant Blue.

Solid pick up, but yeah he was looking for quite a bit. bears lost Scott and Boone hmm interesting. they still have anderson, harris, brown, bazuin, ogunleye and tank

<+BOE> Scott, with Burfict's character concerns (whether legit or not) you think Pioli would draft him. :D
<+ScottWright> Why not. Baldwin does need a sparring partner...

Its about time somebody signed this guy. Hard worker and solid player. Surprised he settled for a one year deal. If thats all he wanted Bears should have brought him back considering Tank is facing suspension.

He had to settle for a one year deal he was asking for like a 7 million SB no body is going to pay him that kinda money.

And Anthony Adams and Dusty Dvoracek. On paper its quite a unit. I want to emphasize on paper because a lot of them definitely underachieved in the later half of the season.

Scott took a 1 year deal because it gets him back on the market sooner. He gets his money in 2007, does well, then either gets an extension from the Eagles midyear or gets a new deal early in FA next offseason. He also goes to a team that really needs him and a team that has a legitimate shot to make the playoffs.

Nice sign, actually might be a better player than Walker.
