2nd round- John Beck-QB- He can come in and compete at day one
3rd round- Tony Hunt-RB- Can pound it for the tough yards
4th round- Tanard Jackson-CB/S- I would run a tampa 2 so he could play S and CB
5th round- Steve Breaston-WR/KR- KR and decent WR
6th round- Rufus Alexander-OLB- Big hitter and has a nose for the ball
7th round- Ben Patrick-TE- Good safety net for a rookie QB
UDFA- Kenny Scott-CB- Completes the Tampa2 corner rebuild

This was off the cuff from memory don't kill it, I could make it much better if I thought about it.

1st. Round - Adrian Peterson, RB. - Easyest transition on offense. Able to help win right away. Amazing upside, Injurys happin to everyone.

2nd. Round - Tony Ugoh, OT/OG. - It starts in the trenches.

3rd. Round - Ryan Harris, OT/OG. - It starts in the trenches.

4th. Round - Marcus Thomas, DT. - Amazing talent, can help anchor the line. If off the feild problems don't become a issue.

5th. Round - Josh Gattis, FS. - Best value to secure the backfield. I think hes a steal in the 5th.

6th. Round - Justin Rogers, OLB/DE. - Has potential, but needs a lot of work. At least a sold backup.

7th. Round - Courtney Brown, CB. - Has a chance to be a very good corner. Just needs to be tutored correctly.

UDFA. - Matt Moore, QB. - In the right situation I think he could excel very well.

                              1) Calvin Johnson, WR-- Purely the best player available. Not traditionally how you build a team, but too good to pass up on. Will help sell tickets while the rest of the team stinks.

                              2) Tony Ugoh, LT-- I don't have a QB yet, but when he gets here, he'll be protected. It's so much better when you add a rookie QB to a veteran OL rather than the other way around, so OL is the first priority in this draft.

                              3) James Marten, RT-- Same reasoning as above. Gives me bookend tackles, hopefully for a decade.

                              4) Michael Bush, RB-- He doesn't need to play this year, because we've already basically acknowledged that we're going to suck. Bush is a guy who could pay big dividends down the line, though.

                              5) Dustin Fry, C-- After adding a pair of solid tackles, it's time to shore up the interior of the OL.

                              6) Rufus Alexander, LB-- First pick that really addresses the defense, Alexander is a quick guy who could be a starter in a Cover 2 scheme-- the defense my franchise will run.

                              7) Ben Patrick, TE-- Amazing value that he's still here. And a solid, smart TE who can find holes in the defense like Patrick is a QB's best friend.

UDFA: Darius Walker, RB-- Can start as a rookie, and later be a change of pace guy behind Bush. Could be an excellent 3rd down RB down the road.

OVERALL: The philosophy is to build a support system for the eventual franchise QB, who will be picked up in a future draft. The most important thing is, this team knows not to expect much to start out, but is building a solid foundation for the future. With a crappy year, and another spate of high draft picks in '08, my franchise would be able to fill in the gaps, adding a potential franchise QB and more defensive parts to this solid base.
