  • LT vs. PH

As most people should know, LT just broke Shaun Alexanders record for most rushing TD's by a RB in a season. But another record, of relative importance, is also about to be broken

Paul Hornung set the all-time record for points in a season with 176 points, in only a twelve game season, in 1960 on 15 TD's, 41 PAT's, and 15 field goals. LT has scored 29 TD's this year, 26 rushing, and 3 receiving.

Granted, LT still has three more games to pad his stats, but which record, in your opinion, is a greater achievement.

I think it's Paul Hornang's mostly because he was also the kicker, that is nuts.

The TD record has been broken like 3 times in the past 6 years so I don't know if it's that amazing any more even though LT is probably gonna pad it a little more.

Tomlinson has scored 174 points on his 29 TDs, so if that record still stands, it's one TD away from being broken.

It's a shame LT can't kick field goals as well as Nate Kaeding.

I was basing it off the numbers presented. I guess I should check things before commenting.

Paul Hornung hates black people, so I vote LT.

For some reason, passing TDs count toward neither total. Maybe because when you throw for a TD, you don't actually cross the plane of the goal line?

You can't count those though, or else Peyton's 49 would trump all.
