  • W9: San Franciso vs. Atlanta

The Falcons are in disarray, but the 49ers aren't doing too well anyway. I think we actually have a good chance this week to win a game. Especially if Todd Weiner comes back.

Do anybody stay in the Atlanta area besides me?....I'll be suprise if the game even come on this sunday due to ticket sales....Man I feel like its the mid 90's again when we had blackouts every sunday.

I hope it doesn't get blacked out. I'm in Chattanooga, TN...I'm outside the 75 miles, but still, it may cause me to lose the game as well. I'd be pretty pissed if I didn't get to record the game this week. I think if we can win a couple we'll sell tickets again, but we have to make the team and the game interesting, not a side show.

The only player on the 49ers that scares me is Vernon Davis. He has freakish ability and they are finally getting him involved in the offense. Frank Gore has been hurt, Alex Smith has been erratic, and they really don't have any playmaking receivers.

I think its going to be a close match, but one team will pull away in the end. SF secondary is pretty good. Their line is decent, Lbs injuries and inexperience.
I think their D-line will win against the patchwork offensive line of ATL. I think the game goes to SF

It will be interesting to see how well the OL can pickup the random blitzer, but if we have Weiner back I feel a LOt better about our offensive line situation

According to AJC the team used the bye week to design plays that would get Jwerious Norwood more involved in the offense.

Finally use Norwood, he can take it the distance. ATL should just play a heavy dose of the run from now on.

I think we need to keep a heavy dose of Robinson, Norwood, and Roddy coming at opposing defenses. I know those guys are homerun hitters, mismatches, and we need to keep 'feeding the studs' We need that runningback situation to get settled, which means we need to bring in a Jonathan Stewart in the draft, a Michael Turner in FA, I want that pounding back.

Roddy finally turning it on, nice to see that he is finally making more of an impact even with crap qbs. Unlike Reggie Brown who is his 3rd year, and still plays like its his first

I think we can beat San Fran, as long as we can win the run game early on, both O and D. If we can stop Gore (who is injured and running behind a pitiful line) then we should win. I think we will be able to get something going against the SF 3-4.

They were an embarrassment against NO, and their morale might even be lower than ours. With home advantage, and a bye week to get Norwood involved, and Babs and Coleman a little healthier, I think we should win.

It makes me mad that no fans are showing up for the games...3000 tickets unsold...man that sucks...I hope the game isn't blacked out in Chatt...
