  • Could the Falcons be looking to trade down?

I know the #3 pick has some great value...but if we could get a deal from a team like Dallas we'd be able to clean house...Problem is they'd have to come off a lot of talent to make it happen, but Jones may really want McFadden.

The Falcons could have a pick as high as the #3 pick which holds a value of 2200 points

    1800 for the 4th pick

    1700 for the 5th pick

The 5th pick would make the trade the easiest to happen, but would McFadden still be on the boards there...anyway...I just don't know what could happen.

Pretty much every team looks to trade down out of the top5 if there isnt that perfect prospect for them, especially in such a weak draft.

Its a matter of who would trade up. And quite frankly, without McFadden and Dorsey, I dont think any of the other prospects are worth trading up for. Trading into the top5 is huge and takes alot of value, even if you are number 6-10 or something.

I highly doubt it, but I would be ecstatic if it were to happen. Great value...able to rebuild very well...Look at how many picks the Packers had in one of the drafts. They had like 10 picks and from then on they were in rebuilding mode. That draft did wonders for them.

We can be similar to that, while building on our last draft.

We are already going to have a lot of picks...trading down we could end up with like 12 picks or something crazy I'm sure...I kinda hope that we end up picking #4 because I think the value chart would make it a LOT easier to trade down from there that 400 point drop is huge.

Thats a good point. At number 4, you can trade down alot more easily, but we would need to have to prospects that other teams would trade up for. We would end up with either Chris Long, Glenn Dorsey, Jake Long, or McFadden.

I think teams could end up trading up for all of them but Jake Long...but if Jake Long is on the board I want us to take him. Him and Blalock on the left side...DAMN.

Everyone wants to trade down, the problem is most teams do not want to trade up.

Way to reiterate what I said Shiver. Very original.

That's what I was saying, I think the Cowboys for McFadden is about the only real option we'd have out there...otherwise teams are going to have to mortgage their drafts for him.
