  • With the recent Grady lawsuit

Would anybody be upset if we selected Okoye with our #8 pick? I think we are giving serious consideration to moving JWill to FS so I think this pick could help us out more in the long run. In the 2nd we can then take the best CB, OL, DE available.

I think more and more this will be the pick.

      I doubt it.

He has burned his bridges. Suing your employer, usually involves a termination of the relationship.

            not necessarily, but possibly.

incidentally, what do people know about this:

Grady is fed up with his low contract.
We don't have cap room to increase it.
Grady brings a frivolous law suit.
Blank offers a very "generous" settlement to the suit, and Grady stops whining about the medical info and plays under the current contract, but with a much better bank balance overall.

Would that breach the cap? If not, that is DEFINITELY what should happen. But if that were the case, surely more teams would use that scam.

No, because that has nothing to do with the cap, that is a lawsuit...it could work, but we'll see
