Somehow through Prescott Burgess's greatness I did manage to see Barnes's beautiful cheap shot.

So new rule, NBA: Unless you have a root canal at halftime, SHUT UP AND PLAY!

Barnes is quickly becoming one of my favorites, I could see him starting at OLB in our 3-4 towards the end of this year or next.

It's good to see some love given to Prescott. I'm a Michigan fan and I know he can shine in the NFL. He wasn't all that productive in college but did show signs of greatness last year. Here's some highlights of the Notre Dame game last year (Prescott had 2 INT's and a TD)

He can play OLB better than Barnes can, Barnes is a pass rush specialist Burgess is a LB.

but you want 3-4 OLB to be mainly pass rushers who occasionally drop into coverage, Burgress is better suited for Bart Scott role as a ILB IMO.

Now that I watched the clip that was a intense hit.

Yes he should. In the 3-4 at OLB, definitely. I like Prescott Burgess alot, he's been playing great, but he isn't half as athletic or explosive as Barnes and Barnes is a great fit. If Jarrett or Suggs goes down, Barnes will be the starter. Barnes may even beat out Jarrett. Prescott will play the middle for us in the 34.

Barnes made 1 play, Burgess made 5 or 6, Burgess is a better LB where as Barnes can rush the passer, I'll take the complete LB starting and so will the Ravens.

Why did it take over a year for Sizzle to start; DING DING DING he could only rush the passer!

Suggs was a DE in college while Barnes had expierence at OLB.

Burgess just is not a fit at 3-4 OLB, ERU were did Burgess make those plays? ILB correct, Burgess is listed as a ILB on the depth chart, just because a player is more complete doesn't mean we will move him out of position to start.

I could see Burgess starting if we use more 4-3 looks then 3-4 looks.

We won't be using more 4-3 looks. The majority of our defensive looks are run out of a 3-4 base, which is why Antwan Barnes should and WILL be starting at outside over Prescott. I guarantee it. If something happens to JJ, or they just decide to go with someone else over him, it will be Barnes. Mark it down.
