The Lions are actively shopping the #2 overall pick.

Would it be a good idea to see what we could make in an offer to them for it? Would Eric Berry or Gerald McCoy be worth it to us to trade away a group of picks and or players for the #2?

With Ed Reed possibly retiring and Trevor Pryce at the end of his road would bringing in one of those two be a huge payoff for us in the long run?

For what it would cost, no. Gerald McCoy would almost be worth it though. Think of him next to Ngata in our 4 man line sets, and then playing the opposite DE in the 3 man lines. I like Berry and all, but McCoy is a better prospect at a position that is more important.

Ozzie isn't giving up the multiple top 3 round picks to move up 23 spots though.

Imagine trading up and getting Suh. Suh and Ngata would be unstoppable.
But i really doubt that happens.
Baltimore should focus their concerns on different ways to get Brandon Marshall on the team.

It sound great but it would cost a crazy amount to move up. We are much better off keeping our picks.

Suh/McCoy next to Ngata would be stupidly hard to play against.

One of those two DT's would make the defensive line sick. Something like that could extend Ray another 2 or 3 seasons and make our pass rush ungodly..
