The Jets showing how you win with a young QB, GIVE HIM DEEP THREATS!
Fire Ozzie Newsome, he's become a joke
How has Ozzie become a joke? He put together a GREAT team this year without spending hundreds of millions on waste... the Pats had a payroll over $140m this year and look where it got them. We signed and traded for the right guys. Our coaches let this one slip away with poor play calling on the Offense and our Defense throughout the year has been less and less aggressive. John is a very very very good head coach once he gets by Pittsburgh in the playoffs he will be able to add the GREAT in front of his name. But nothing that happened on the field this year has ANYTHING to do with Ozzie.
I really don't think Mattison or Cameron could change much, it's just they're style of play-calling. It could work with other teams, but just not this one the way the personnel is now. Cameron specifically would have to change a ton of stuff to really maximize the potential on offense, starting with the designs of routes for the receivers we have/had. Mattison got better later in the year, but he's still not an ideal fit for the defensive front we have. We need to add a pass-rusher or two regardless if he's brought back but his passive stance just doesn't fit what we have to work with. Basically what I'm getting at is that no matter what Harbaugh could say to either of them nothing would change much.
I agree 100%. I think we need to add a few new position coaches on the offensive side of the ball too. I wouldn't be mad if we went after a Brad Childress to run the offense or if we gave Cam one more shot to bring in someone to coach the O Line and a new WR coach. On Defense we need to be more aggressive, I think we have great position coaches and Mattison doesn't fit that equation at all.
I think the Ravens have spent too much time, effort, and draft picks getting a bunch of "tough guys." Now they need some skill players at the WR and CB positions. They could also use a scat back type. Perhaps Noel Devine or someone comparable.
This wouldnt be bad if our playcalling style at all meshed with our players. But we're a tough guy team executing finesse plays. It just doesnt work.

Tears for Fears is better than whatever it is you happen to be thinking about right now.
Le'Ron McClain, a two-time Pro Bowl fullback, said he doesn't expect to return to the Ravens next season.
McClain is one of 17 Ravens scheduled to be unrestricted free agents.
"Itís up to what the Ravens organization decides. But I doubt it, though. I doubt it," McClain said while clearing out his locker Monday.
Why does McClain feel that way?
"If I was [coming back], I would probably have been used a little bit more this season and the past two years," said McClain, who was the Ravens' leading rusher in 2008. "It is what is. Iím over that now. Four great years in Baltimore. Now, Iím just looking forward to the future."
I think Le'Ron coming back has to do with McGhee. If we keep him then Le'Ron is gone but if we can trade McGhee then expect the L Train to be our power back next year which I WOULD LOVE to see happen more than anything. I think he has more ability than #23
I have always been a Webb supporter but there is no excuse for that play.
Maybe we should strictly use him as a punt/kick returner.
That's pretty ridiculous. Webb isn't this terrible positional player that should be relegated to a return specialist, he's actually a decent corner that shouldn't be off of the field when we're in nickel or dime sets.
