  • Runnels cut

    http://www.chicagobears.com/news/New...?story_id=3511

"There was also news at the fullback position Monday as second-year pro J.D. Runnels was waived/injured and Obafemi Ayanbadejo, the brother of Bears special teams standout Brendon Ayanbadejo, participated in practice on a tryout basis.

Runnels injured his knee last week during an OTA workout. The 2006 sixth-round draft pick from Oklahoma appeared in two games last season on special teams."

Runnels didn't last very long.. 2 FBs in a 3 day span? lol.. Wasn't Johnson finally released the other day?

A lot of people were high on Runnels I never really bought into the hype.. I wonder how serious the injury was.

Another interesting note is that Obafemi Ayanbadejo is trying out for the team.. He was a pretty good special teamer for ARZ I believe.

Well that was a complete waste of a pick. Then again it was a 6th rounder, which are always crapshoots anyway. I need to update the depth chart, lots of small moves going on.

Ian Scott was way uglier than Runnels.

Skin diseases don't count. That's like calling a mentally handicapped person ugly. Things you've had since birth don't count in the ugly factor.

I really like this move, as I have always been a fan of Oba. He is a good solid veteran FB who is a good blocker, and very good special teamer. And he has won a Super Bowl with the Ravens.

the dude is fugly. it's that simple, and your ugliness always stems from birth.

What? I would have been able to make fun of that ugly POS for the entire NFL season? Oh well, I suppose I'll stick to Sexy Rexy comments.
