I too would like to come out of the first round next year with a CB.

I could envision a scenario where we have 3 first rounders next year! How amazing would it be to come out of next years' draft with a first round OL, WR & CB?!
I'm actually suggesting moving down IF McFadden is still there.

Well, it's still really early. I want to see him this season, but he really looks like a difference maker.

Unless we some miracles from UDFA, we will need to go Safety, CB, RB, OT, C and DL in this year's draft. No more linebackers, no need for DE, QB likely fine and a two of the four young WR will develop.

I'd like to see the future NT drafted finally. Then CB.

I would love it too but NT is such a weird position to even target via the draft. A total crap shot.

But NT is an issue. Question is given the "Wade" system do we go a lighter penetrator or 2-Gap hoss......

Not sure Fergie is either type -- Maybe Ratliff or one of our current kiddos can make the transition and we deal from strength (DE).

One way to figure it out is to find the guy on the roster (or in the draft) the most like Jamal Williams in skill set. Good luck.

I'd a very happy man if we'll be able to grab Desean Jackson with the Browns' pick.

My hopes for the draft are (in no particular order):

                          Earl Bennett, WR, Vandy

                          Antoine Cason, CB, Arizona

                          Brandon Flowers, CB, Virgina Tech

                          Johnathan Stewart, RB, Oregon

I like Stewart alot. I prefer those stocky, strong base type RB ala Jamal Lewis. I wouldn't mind getting him at all.

Assuming that we keep both our first rounders I want a WR in round 1. We need someone to replace the old guys, and Owens and Glenn could still be an elite tandem until the rookie develope. This could be the best situation for a rookie WR, imo.

If we don't resign Julius, I would like Jamal Charles on the first day. I think he will have a great season for the longhorns and that he can be a very special player in the NFL.

                                1. Kenny Phillips, FS, Miami(FL)
                                1. Antoine Cason, CB, Arizona
2 (TRADE UP). Earl Bennett, WR, Vanderbuilt
                                4. Terrance Taylor, NT, Michigan
                                5. Chevis Jackson, CB, LSU
                                6. Matt Flynn, QB, LSU
                                7. Darrell Robertson, DE/OLB, Georgia Tech

Very early, but that's what I'd want today.
