Well, I'm glad that's taken care of. He's no Adam Vinatieri, but he was better than Vanderjagt. I never believed that the Cowboys would actually draft a kicker.

You guys should have went after Jay Feely. I know everyone remembers that one game in Seattle but he really isn't that bad and definately better than Gramatica in my opinion.

Here is a link saying we are expected to re-sign him on Monday, so I guess it is a fact:

It also says we are still in negotiations with Colombo, sweet.

It is dirt cheap, he is getting NFL minimum both years. Sounds good.

He got a 200K signing bonus plus 700k this season and I think 850K next year, so yeah pretty cheap. Jerry said he'd never pay a kicker like Vandershank again.

Dolphins | Mare not expected to return
                              Wed, 7 Mar 2007 10:22:31 -0800

Alex Marvez, of the Sun-Sentinel, reports the Miami Dolphins are expected to either trade or release PK Olindo Mare.

I am very interested by that. John Hall was also release...we all know he has a big leg.
