Mays was garbage before the draft, and has been even worse since being in SF. Look at how any SF fan, or beat writer feels about him. My best friend is a hardcore Niner fan, I saw Mays looking clueless in the secondary over, and over. Even as a 2nd round pick that people felt (wow what a steal) he can't even live up to being a solid starter. He's 1 guy I'm extremely happy we passed on, with as bad as our safeties have been he would be no improvement what so ever, and that says ALOT.
I wanted Brent Grimes, but he signed a 1 year deal with ATL. He's not a #1 CB IMO, but really athletic, great ball skills, and physical. I would have wanted to take a look at a 3 year deal if the cost was right, he was good depth. Cro I wanted no part of, great fit in NY, feel like he'd be a disaster here.

I guarantee that if someone picks Cam Newton in the Top 5 they will regret it.
Davis is horrible...his cutting probably had more to do with ability these days then it did the cap figure. He was our worst lineman last season...we dont need to revisit that again.
He cant pull anymore and he was being moved way too much for a man of his stature. Couldnt run behind him, couldnt trust him in pass protection. He's lost it. We can do better. A banged up Holland is probably better right now.
I really want an upgrade....but the coaches love to bring up Tyron Smith when talking about Holland. How Holland will constantly be in his ear and has taken him under his wing. It doesnt sound too likely that we plan on replacing Holland. He knows the ins and outs of the offense, and he's been given the responsibility of getting Tyron up to speed.
