    • If we win tomorrow, there isn't a game left on the schedule that we can't win.

That's my general feeling, but there are always judgement calls to make on an individual basis.
Not even that ..... you need brains to play CB / Safety and DL.

Plus many of the non-SEC guys get into the Pros and with the weight training and focus, they actually get better. SEC guys just get stuck.

Kind of like the 13 year old 6'0 tall kid who dominates in 8th grade and then by the time High School is done -- he no longer dominates cuz the kids catch up to him.

The SEC ia all about football, the kids who go there breadth it and get paid for it. So they are ahead of the rest of the college kids who actually go to school. But once you get out of school and you get to focus 100% -- give me any other conference.

            • We match up pretty well, we've had two weeks to prepare, and we're healthy...but as I posted in the other thread, Brady is 30-0 in his last 30 regular season games at home. I think it's fair to say that the odds are against us. The Pats havent even lost at home since 2008.

I'll take New Engalnd this week, but it should be a good one.

              Thanks BoneKrusher^

He'll win us games he'll lose us games. The result of having a gunslinger at the helm. Point is we have ingrained this play into him by having him help the Cowboys overachieve on offense the past couple years. Besides, even if we win I'm much more scared of Garrett's playcalling than Romo's decision making.

How much latitude does Romo have in your system? Can he call his own plays? Maybe that's something that would benefit him? This way he can check of throwing plays and run the ball if he sees the defense in a certain front.

                  • Tony has a lot of freedom and he normally does make the right audibles at the line. He usually does a fine job of identifying the coverages prior to the snap. He's extremely vocal under center, he always seems incredibly prepared...but he'll still make the boneheaded throw.

                    Thanks BoneKrusher^

                    • Found a statistical analysis or Tony Romo and a bunch of other top QBs comparing their INT rates with winning.

Only Tony taking chances that sometimes lead to an interception narrows the gap between past Super Bowl champions and the Romo edition of the Dallas Cowboys. That is a tough position for Tony Romo: make one mistake or fewer while taking chances down the field, and there is a better than 70% chance that the team wins. Make more than one mistake, and a loss is almost inevitable: something that is obviously not the case for Romo‘«÷s contemporaries.

                        • Maybe I'm just overly optimistic for this week, but we are pretty healthy now, had an extra week to prepare, I think Rob Ryan will do great with that, and got to see his brother a week prior and see what worked/didn't work.

                          I like our chances.

Yeah, Garrett made him throw off his back foot for that INT too.

Guys, he needs to go. A QB who plays like this will never play 3-4 straight "good enough" games to win a SB.
