He is not a QB -- he is ATH

Nice win and Garrett did right pulling back Romo once game was in hand.

I think we are going to be a really dangerous team come December. Rest up Felix and Austin, I'd give them the next 3 weeks to ensure they don't re-injure anything. All of a sudden we would be back to the home run hitting offense we were used to.
Felix never needs to suit up again as long as Murray is healthy. Too injury prone, can't shake tackles, it's like night and day with Murray in there.

      • God, GMen are lucky.

There are teams who though the course of a season get every break no matter what they do.

SF should be up 16-6 or 20-6.

        • Gotta give props to Garrett/Romo and the entire team for putting together the best win of the season. We all know the potential this team has and love to complain when they don't make the right decisions to reach that potential. Today, they did and it was a thing of beauty.

Yes, yes on giving Robinson that extension. Same for Fiametta.

Must say... Good job by the OL too!

            • The pass blocking was exceptional today.

              • Finally GMen did not get a break. Only 3 4th down conversion on one drive.

One game out of the Div Lead.

D-Unit, I'll appreciate some +rep about Robison... just kidding.

As for the team, I like where we are heading overall in the future. I doubt this team will win a super bowl this year, but the future is bright. Sure up the interior OL, get a true NT, and get another good ILB to go with Lee and Carter and this team should be a perennial contender for a while.

Was Romo ever on the ground today?

                    • I wonder how much of it was Buffalo's deficiencies versus how well the line played. Regardless, if they protect Romo like that the rest of the season, we'll make the playoffs.

                      • Yea I was going to say, Buffalo doesn't have the greatest pass rush in the world...but I'll take it. Next week against the Redskins will be a good one, if we can pull out another win then I'm about 80% sure the Boys make the playoffs.

                        • If they go on a run then they could end up being "that team nobody wants to play." When teams get hot in the second half of the season it usually translates to post season success.

                          • Great pass rush or not...even guys like Murray, Fiammetta, and Phillips were coming up with big time blocks in the passing game. Beautiful pocket all game.

And Romo was damn brilliant making his reads. And it was nice to see him take more shots down the field.

                            Thanks BoneKrusher^

                            • I'm still unswayed from keeping QB as a potential 1st round pick. It's QB or CB for me... with an outside shot at OLB if Spencer leaves or NT if someone worthy steps up (which I haven't seen yet).

                              • Game Notes

                                - Romo is a completely different player with a consistant run game to compliment his gun slinging. His 88.5% completion pecentage was insane and he looked healthy with a couple of vintage Tony Houdini pocket moves.

-Robinsion and Fiametta are my offensive MVP's of the game. Fiametta is not a bruising power blocker, but is athletic enough to wall off the second level and uses good technique to sustain blocks against larger defenders. Robinson continues to impress with his solid hands and ability to create separation. He brings the element of pure speed that Miles and Dez don't have and is surpisingly polished in most of his routes, considering the fact he hasn't had a lot of time on the field previous to this season due to injury.

-Murray continues to impress, clearly is the most complete RB the team has had since #22. I'm not proclaiming that he is a future star yet, but is is clearly a player. He continued to display his excellent vision in the game and consistantly turned 2 yard gaines into 4 yards. Most impressive imo is his willingness and ability to block in pass protection, if anyone gets a chance to re-watch the game look at how well he performed in blitz pick up.

-Feed Dez! Hey may not run perfect routes, He may swing the ball around like he is in the middle of a street ball game, but if he is single covered and you throw it up, 9 out of 10 times he comes down with the rock. Completely Moss'd McKelvin on the td catch on the underthrown ball by Romo.

-O-line has another productive game, 163 yards rushing with a 4.7 ypc, zero sacks and zero penalties. Holland continues to get push in the run game, Doug Free has put together a solid couple of games after struggling early in the season, Costa looks like a completely different player sandwiched between two veterans ( no bad snaps thank god ) and Tyron continues to improve each game.

-Defensive Dominance was a Mirage, the combination of the Boy's cruising on offense and miscues by Buffalo lead to a misleading stats linefor the defense. Rayner missed a big kick on the second drive of the game after a solid drive by Fitz and co costing the Bills points and confidence. The next drive was an 80 yard TD drive. The Dallas Offense prevented any move damage by controlling the clock for over 19 min and scoring on all four drives in the first half.

On the first drive in the second half Fitz almost has an easy score to CJ Spiller on a go route if he hadn't have lost his footing. The same drive the Bills drove all the way down to the Cowboy 17 opting to attempt a conversion on 4th and 2...Fitz underthrew Jones who clearly had Alan ball beat in the endzone which would have made it a 28-14 game. Newman's first interception went through the WR hands ending another drive. Chan Gailey finally started calling on the running game leading to another long drive which ended on the Fred Jackson Fumble. Fitz threw an ugly no look curl on Newman's pick six and that just put the icing on the cake. On their last drive Gailey went back to the run and was again sucessful driving the ball all the way the the 7 yard line before Fitz gift wrapped a INT for Frank Walker.

Not taking away anything from the players or Rob's game plan, but the Bills def had opportunities they didn't capitalize on. There were some blown coverages and miscommunication in the secondary that simply weren't exposed. The offensive onslaught by the boys dampered Fred Jackson's effect on the game, but he still diced up the defense for 114 yards on only 13 carries. Also, the scoring frenzy handcuffed Gailey's play calling and allowed Ryan to dial up the pressure.

-All in all a very good win especially with three very winnable games up coming before a stretch of two rounds of the Gmen and a rematch with the Eagles to decide if they make the playoffs.
