I just wanted to point out how we have all our guys locked up already, and have the team taken care of, while the Giants and Eagles are both still having to deal with potential holdouts from Westbrook and Plaxico...I like the fact that we took care of all our guys that deserved it, and don't have to worry about any of the distractions that stuff brings all the way into camp.

I still think Driver is making more on the overall deal, I believe both were four years and Driver's was 17 million with Crayton's being 14 million, also Crayton makes 1 million this year and Driver makes 3...But that was more due to the fact that Driver was 31 when he signed his deal and Crayton was 27.
It's still close enough, point being you won't find too many :) And I'll take on Crayton's 1 million dollar salary for 800 yds and 7 TD's anyday.
Sorry for the late reply, I forgot about it as since I'm not a Cowboys fan I don't make a point to check this thread on a regular basis, but I do want to respond to this.
That was another extension that was 4 year $17 million. Driver's second contract was for 5 years $11 million back in 2002. He then went on to score 9 TDs and 1000 yards making the probowl in 2002 after signing the deal. Just to clear it up, but yeah you guys have Crayton for a good price. He's probably the second best that fits your crazy circumstances you gave. :p
According to DC.com both Choice & Bennett are really close to deals. I'm sure these will be done late tonight or early tomorrow. Then we'll have Jones & Jenkins done by the time practice starts on Friday.
All i hear is praise about Scandrick, but there's a reason he was a late round pick. What's the story on this guy on why he wasn't a higher pick? Never really watched Boise State so i've never seen him play.
He has the tools but didn't show the ability to use them properly. Was absolutely terrible against Hawaii.
Scandrick is an all potential no production guy. But on a team as deep at cornerback as the Cowboys are, they can afford to have Scandrick as a long term investment who might develop one day. I mean, other than special teams, when is he going to see the field? Barring several injuries at corner that would cripple any team in the league's pass defense, he won't see the field except for dime/quarter situations.
