You are being way too kind. He's an ugly ass mofo that should never ever EVER take his helmet off for any reason. Not even while he sleeps!!!

I think the best thing I could say is the newer picture might not cause small children to cry and dogs to howl.

Maurice Drew plays a big role for the Jaguars as a RB but they are happy to use him as a kick returner because of his ability to gain big yardage.
I agree that the injury argument is over used sometimes, but you have to be kidding me if you think the risk of injury is the same on kick returns than on regular plays. Just look around the league. All the brutal injuries occur when players are going full speed and colliding into each other. On defense, the only time you're going full speed is when you're chasing someone from behind. I'd put him back there on occasion, like the opening kickoff (or after halftime) or when we really need to spark something up on offense.

Hmm I don't know.. Off the top of my head I don't remember a good returning specialist getting seriously hurt. Hester, Drew, Mcgee, Cribbs, Smith, Pacman all of them get a lot of punts and/or kick returns but no one of them has suffered an injury during a return...

                • Crazy thought: We plug the hole at LG by temp. bringing back Larry Allen.

                  • Id still have concerns about your defense. I think the offense is very good, but your defense can still be had through the air.

You can also use an explosive player on offense. While Owens is still the 2nd best WR in the league, he's not really a guy who stretches the field. You guys have an incredible offense, maybe the 3rd best in the league, but the one thing that its missing is an explosive playmaker.

You might see that this year out of Felix Jones. As for a down field threat, TO is still capable, but our only burner right now is Miles Austin and he might make a name for himself this year. I don't think Jerry will address WR in the draft, rather opting for FA, but if he does, it's most likely a speedy deep threat that we go after. DHB is my fav.

...and while Roy Williams will forever handcuff our secondary, I think Jerry has done plenty to beef up the secondary. This could be Roy's last year with us if he single handedly costs us any games.

That said, I don't think I can pin any single loss last year directly to Roy.

I still think that we could add another talented body along the DL. You can control a lot on defense with a talented and versatile DL. Giants know that first hand. I'm already ready to sign Igor Olshansky in the offseason. ;)

                      • a little update on the LG carousel:
There are three people that will be getting serious consideration from Wade Phillips. Joe Berger and Pat McQuistan are the obvious choices to make it, but odd man out Cory Proctor could always slide under the radar and have a solid showing.

I think honestly, despite his looks, McQuistan should get it. Going from Tackle to Guard is an upgrade and should play into his hands if he just doesn't fub any plays.

                            • No chance Coleman makes the team and Ball probably played his way off the roster.

                                Courtney Brown over Ball
Lattimore over Colemen though I prefer the third QB which we don't have right now.

                                That is about it IMHO.
