  • And the new right tackle is ...

    Damien Woody!!!!

    http://detnews.com/apps/pbcs.dll/art...711260442/1361
Damien Woody, a starting right guard for most of his four seasons with the Lions, has been moved to right tackle. He will start in Sunday's game against the Minnesota Vikings, Woody said after practice Monday.

The move, not completely unexpected, was necessitated by injuries and poor performance.

Hell, we've been paying the guy Tackle money for years, maybe he'll finally live up to his paycheck.

yeah but at least you tricked the raiders into giving you a 4th for McCown and Williams, I think Millen buttered up Al with glory stories and then just snuck that awful deal in there, kinda like a chick trying to poke your backside during a BJ, it's always bad.

You mean like trading Randy Moss to the Patriots and creating a juggernaut in your own conference for what turned out to be 4th Round selection John Bowie who hasn't touched the playing field bad?

                    ouch...just....ouch

But seriously...what's there to lose with Woody? Scott isn't healthy enough to play yet. George Foster a false start or holding penalty waiting to happen. Saipaia is a halfway decent guard, but no tackle. There really aren't too many options to choose from at this moment.
                    Cheers to Michigan winters...

Scott's done for the year(as announced by ESPN) so we're stuck with a revolving door at right tackle with Suckus on the other side. Hopefully Woody can play at least half way decent at right tackle because we desperately need it.

I'm hoping our next RT is Barry Richardson ... selected in Round 2 of the 2008 NFL Draft!
