  • Roy Williams: Wants to be a Lion, but not opposed to playing with T.O. - Freep

    And it continues....

Basically Roy doesn't say that he wants to play for Dallas [he just says he can't answer that question] but says he wants to stay in Detroit. It is just a matter of paying him and he is fine with being franchised.

Not a major development and this may have been brought up already.

I hope he is not opposed to playing with Kevin Curtis.

Matt Millen better get that man his money, Roy is the real deal and i can't think of a team that would not want him if he were to hit the open market.

At least he wants to be here. That is going to make it easier. But remember, nothing is a lay up for Millen.

As you can see in my sig that be my ideal situation, I dont like any WR's in this draft all that much outside of Devin Thomas who will be gone, and it seems like it makes sense for both ends if Detroit really has no intention on paying him...Im pretty sure Jerry wouldnt mind giving up the pick, just a matter of if Detroit would be interested in making it happen...I havent got really excited over the so called deal because its more like a long shot to happen, but a man can have some hope.
