I am not "guessing" on W's ... but facts say 7 games are against returning playoff teams. The Giants, Dolphins & Patriots are solid as well.

"Ouch" to those who say this is an easy schedule.

      we're the favorite-competitive-we get smoked
      Home:2-3-3

      Chicago Bears-competitive-good history against them
      Green Bay Packers-we get smoked
Minnesota Vikings-competitive-we always play them close
      Philadelphia Eagles-we get smoked
Washington Redskins-favorite-they are rebuilding worse than us. plus won last year.
      New England Patriots-we get smoked
New York Jets-competitive-sanchez has bad days
St. Louis Rams-favorite-their defense is worse than ours

      Away:2-3-3

      Chicago Bears-competitive but expecting loss
Green Bay Packers-we get smoked-rodgers still plays madden against us
Minnesota Vikings-competitive-hopefully peterson fumbles and favre leaves
Dallas Cowboys-we get smoked-strong d, oline, big play speed, pro bowl qb
New York Giants-we get smoked-qb, running game, strong lines
Buffalo Bills-favorite-o-line/qb/wr/new defense should make it easier for us
Miami Dolphins-competitive-young qb but are all around better off
Tampa Bay Buccaneers-favorite-they have young qb and major rebuilding job

so 4-6 with 6 toss up games. i like our chances this year compared to last.

let's see, assuming we lose one win against the bears and worst case get sweeped by Pack and Vikes...

Bills and Bucs are doable enough. Dolphins we might be able to get a win... the Rams shouldn't be a problem @home. So... that's 4-12, 5-11 right there. We beat one team in the division once and grab a victory @ the phins and we're 5-11.

Bucs, Bills, Rams are must-wins. These are teams we can beat. The home schedule is absolutely brutal though.

edit: just noticed the skins are there somewhere as well! Heck we might go 6-10!

              Detroit Lions 2-5
              Remaining Schedule

vs Jets-Their Offense Looked Horrible. We have a shot at this. Competitive.
              @ Buffalo-We've Favored. Victory.
@ Dallas-We have better play on offense and defense. Victory.
vs New England-Thanksgiving day will give us great opportunity for upset. Probably won't happen, but we'll be competitive.
vs Chicago-No way we lose this game. Highly motivated after 'catch'. Victory.
              vs Green Bay-Competitive.
@ Tampa Bay-Victory. They can't hang with our offense.
              @ Miami-Competitive.
vs Minnesota-Will Favre still be alive by then? Competitive.

4 games that I'd favor us and 5 more where we should be able to win or will be close. I think we're finally respectable again.

I'm liking our schedule for the rest of the season.

                Remaining Schedule, IMO

                vs Jets
Loss - No matter how bad they looked, they won't let that happen twice in a row.

                @ Buffalo

Arguably, if not most likely, the worst team in the NFL this season. We win this one.

                @ Dallas
They'll miss romo, but this one relies heavily on just how bad the Cowboys season continues to be. I do think we have a chance, but I'm not gonna give this more than a competitive.

                vs New England

it would be amazing if we win this, but we won't. Pats are still way too good

                vs Chicago

We deserve this more than any other teams ever deseres to beat Chicago in a season. They stole that game in chi-town, now it's payback

                vs Green Bay

Depends heavily on their injury list by then, but considering they'll most likely be in playoff contention, I don't think we'll win this

                @ Tampa Bay

Competitve, but a Bucs team that could be sniffing playoffs has the edge here. We could win this, but it won't be easy.

                @ Miami

I think this depends enterily on how the season's gone for both our teams. I just don't see our corners covering Brandon Marshall well enough. Edge Miami, but we're in this.

                vs Minnesota

I can't see this Vikes team come back from the shape they're in. Childress gambled, and lost. We win.
