Could any Jags fan kindly educate me on Clint Ingram and how he was for you guys? I was a fan of his as a prospect from OU - what happened with him?
The whole world loves neophyte athletic tight end Jimmy Graham from Miami with the 95th pick. "Best pick in the draft,'' one AFC coach told me. "Give him time, and in that offense, he'll be better than [Jeremy] Shockey by the start of next year.''
“We know that no matter the adversity, be it the lockout, be it the suspension or be it a hurricane, our men will pull together and defend the honor of this city. We’ve shown we’ve been able to do that.” - Jabari Greer
Ingram was a thumper who had decent athleticism and wasn't all that bad for us. Unfortunately, he couldn't stay healthy and stay on the field. At one point last year, his spot was taken over by a UDFA in Russell Allen. I think another part of his decline here was the rotation between defenses and maybe he just didn't feel comfortable.
I think by the end of last year he didn't feel comfortable and didn't want to be here, especially after the Morrison trade.
He's a good player and never got into trouble, so I hope he does well where ever he goes.
