  • Will Shields?

No this is not a thread about him coming back I know he is done.

That being said he did hint in his Q & A on Chiefs.com he would like to maybe coach or be involved in some way with the team be it front office or coaching thoughts?

I think he could be a great OL coach my self I mean who better?

Depends, he was an amazing athlete who seemed to just get it when it came to line play. That doesn't necessarily mean he would be able to teach other guys how to do it.

I read that he has been helping Tre Stallings with technique. Apparently Stallings approaches Shields at every opprotunity looking to learn from him. That's always a good sign to me when I guy is working to improve himself wherever possible.

Yes, it is what made him great. The question is did the technique come naturally to him or wa it something he had to work for? Some guys just get it, some guys have to work for it, and some guys never get it at all.
