    • Adams, potentially Moss. Anderson is a base DE, and may not be anywhere near as big as originally thought (6-5, 270). I'd much rather address the position in round 2 with the likes of Moses or Spencer. I'm bored, so a little offseason plan.

      Ideal offseason (a few stretches)
Sign: Donte Stallworth, Kris Dielman, Shantee Orr, Keith Traylor.

      Release:
Marty Booker, Kevin Carter, Jeno James, Seth McKinney, Joey Harrington, Bennie Anderson, Dan Wilkinson

      Draft:
      1- Alan Branch DT
      2- Anthony Spencer OLB
      3- Josh Wilson CB
      4- HB Blades MLB
      6- Matt Moore QB
      7- Le'Ron McClain FB

      Depth Chart
      Offense:
      QB- Daunte Culpepper/Cleo Lemon/Matt Moore
      RB- Ronnie Brown/Ricky Williams/Sammy Morris
      FB- Le'Ron McClain/Kyle Eckel
      WR- Chris Chambers/Wes Welker
      WR- Donte Stallworth/ Derek Hagan
      TE- Randy McMichael/Justin Peelle
      LT- Anthony Alabi/Damion McIntosh
      LG- Kris Dielman/Joe Toledo
      C- Rex Hadnot/Kendyl Jacox
      RG- LJ Shelton/Kendyl Jacox
      RT- Vernon Carey/Damion McIntosh

      OE- Jason Taylor/Anthony Spencer
      DT- Alan Branch/Kevin Vickerson/Rod Wright
      NT- Keith Traylor/Fred Evans/Manny Wright
      DE- Matt Roth
      WLB- Channing Crowder/Derrick Pope
      MLB- Zach Thomas/HB Blades
      SLB- Shantee Orr
      CB- Will Allen/Josh Wilson
      CB- Travis Daniels/Andre Goodman
      FS- Jason Allen
      SS- Renaldo Hill

That is pretty realistic, and I would probably kiss Mueller and Cameron if they could pull it off.

      That is correct comahan

just wondering y would u want stallworth over booker...he did have a good year last year but id rather keep booker..he is pretty consistant and fine with being a no.2...idk if stallworth fits any of those catagories....also i will swear until he proves me wrong that jason allen will never be good in the nfl...i hope we never have to depend on him to start at safety...and also anyone that thinks that jason allen can play corner...did not watch him at all in college...he was awful at corner...decent at safety..sometimes he was pretty good at safety in college but terrible at corner....i just dont think he is gonna translate well into the pros

        • Jason Allen wasn't drafted in the first round for no reason.

And Stallworth is a big play guy and 4 years younger. Booker is nice, I like him, but Stallworth would be a better investment.

ur right he was drafted in the 1st round for a reason....the reason is good size..he ran a 4.39 in the combine which is excellent...and saban liked him recrruited him in hs...u kno all that...but im tellin u he will not be good...which only time can prove...but u kno just cuz ur drafted in the 1st round doesnt mean ur gonna be good

            • Of course it doesn't mean you're going to be good, but it wasn't drafted in the first round because of his size and 40, that's not how things work.

it seems pretty decent to me. i like the matt moore pick and i like wilson in the third with his returning abilities to really push welker.

i dont like stallworth really and i dont think he will leave philly but i think he is an upgrade over booker. im also a big fan of yeremiah bell and i think he played well enough last year to be brought back and given the opportunity to compete for one of the starting safety jobs but if someone gives him a big contract i can understand taking the draft pick.

well in some cases it is..players get drafted becuz of things like that and they have potential...this is a pointless argument..all we can do is wait and see

                  • No player is draft in the first round purely on potential, they have to do something on the field to go anywhere near that high.

                      stallworth/chambers combo = SWEET!!!

2 speedster and 2 possesion receiver in hagan and welker .. perfect

edited: btw this guy has the same opinion except he'll release welker than booker

                      • Welker is a RFA so we wouldn't cut him, we just wouldn't resign him. Someone told me that he wants a decent sized contract though. But if Welker resigns as a RFA it would make so much more sense to keep him around. He is younger, he is great in the slot, and he is cheaper. We can just keep him for a year and then move Hagan into the #3 role. We really could live without both of them, but it would make most sense to cut Booker and then keep Welker for a year and then let him walk.

                            • I hope we keep Welker around, he's a great #3. He has the tendency to come through when we need him...
Vince Young is going to prove he's the next overrated QB to come out in years.

He'll probably end up being a WR or something...

He is very good across the middle, he doesnt get the return averages others get but he is smart back there. Things that dont show up like standing 1 foot out of bounds to catch a kick off for the extra yardage for the penalty and to the 40.
