  • Umm. Alex BRown isn't that good. I'm not sure I'd rather start him over McCray(who is far superior as a passrusher) and Hargrove.

      freudian blindness?

      Saints 2014 draft wish list:
      - No pass rusher till the fourth round (or preferably at all)
      - Corner or Wideout in the first
      - No reaching
      - No Kelvin Benjamin

AOA would become a luxury if Malcom Jenkins moves to FS. Plus he's a return specialist that would help out on KR.
Gerhart would be that goalline back that Mike Bell was supposed to be. We could become very flexible in our jumbo and 2TE packages.
I don't think Washington in the first is a reach at all. I think he's a fringe 1st/2nd round guy and would make an instant impact on the team.

Well, our front office thought he was good enough to sign to be the starting LE opposite Will Smith. I would actually consider McCray and Brown about even in pass rushing.

          • I was wondering how you guys feel about possibly getting Sean Lee in round 2. I feel he could be one of the better LBs in this draft if he had never gotten hurt. Now that durability is a big concern I feel he may fall farther than he should. He is a very good LB and could probably play the spot left open by losing Fujita. I know it all depends on what happens in round 1 or if he is even available but the more I see this guy the more I feel he would be a solid addition to our LBs.

            • Lee is fine. The deciding factor for our front office is going to be how they decide what order to go after certain positions. Given our needs, there is a great deal of 2nd - 3rd round talent on the front 7. It' just depends who we see as a value at what round.

              • I like Lee but am nervous about drafting him. He has all the talent in the world to be a great LB but I don't trust his injury history at all.

Like most PSU LB's, I wouldn't go first but if he slides like Puz did I would be happy to take him.

Paul Posluszny hasn't been able to stay on the field and Dan Connor is just a special teamer for Carolina. I don't know if we need someone like that on the team.

Puz slid to the 3rd round and has done a very good job, like you said, when he is on the field.

                      • I'd be fine taking Daryl Washington at 32. Would I love to move up from 32/64 to get him in the mid second? sure, I'm all for maximizing value, but he's good enough to take at 32, especially if we can nab a big NT somewhere.

                        • A bit random, but what would you guys think about drafting a WR with your Round 1? Any indication that it could maybe possibly happen?

I was just randomly thinking that Marques Colston and Golden Tate could be a real nice duo for you guys.

                          • WR is so not a need. With Lance Moore, Bobby Meachem, Devery Henderson, Courtney Roby, Adrian Arrington and Rod Harper, we have a great reciever corps already.

A WR in a RB body eh? We already kinda got that one covered :P

But really, if we draft any offense in Round 1 it will be a very very bad day.

Yeah I know it's not a need.. sometimes these things just come to me.
