    Prospect Visits

Thought I make a thread for Players Eagles are visiting with draft things keep it a little different. With lisited players

    So far
ILB Jameel McClain- probably a special teamer, pretty big guy at like 250, maybe another late round lb like Gaithers
Rb Albert Young-don't see anything in him, another ryan moats maybe bigger 5-10 209, maybe Buck. Pretty good receiver, not a return guy, so I don't see anything special with him.
Cb Charles Godfery-maybe another Sheldon Brown, big hitter and Physical could be a nice nickel corner.
WR Devin Thomas-JUCO and 1 year wonder. But is tall, big traget at 6'2-6'1 also a return man so thats another plus. Strong enough to beat the Jam a problem our WR have.
Rb Justin Forestt-backed up Lynch, not a pounder 5-8 195. Can maybe help in return game probably a ST guy. 40 4.62, has a good senior bowl.
WR/PR/KR Darrell Blackman-A returner for kicks and punts. YAC player 5-11. Has ball problems. Not much upside as a WR. PS guy
WR-Earl Bennett-Almost comparies to Hinze Ward. Good route runner, blocker, finds ways to get open, good hands. Can come in and return.
DT-Kentwan Balmer 300 lbs can get bigger
    WR DeSean Jackson-WHYYYY
    FS Chris Hemphill
    CB Antwaun Molden
    RB Tim Hightower
    WR James Hardy
    OG Mackenzy Bernadeau
    TE Michael Peterson
    OT Franklin Dunbar
    FB Mike Viti
    LB Will Clewis
    OT Duane Brown
    WR Will Franklin
    LB Jolonn Dunbar
    SS Dowayne Davis- Syracuse
    WR/KR/PR Dexter Jackson- Appalachian State
    LB/DE Andy Wheaton College
    OL Brandon Keith Northern Iowa
    OL Mike McGlynn's Pittsburgh
    OT Jeff Otah Pittsburgh
TE Jermichael Finley University of Texas
    P Chris Sprague Duke
    P Benjamin Dato Fordham
    LB Gian Villante. Hofstra
    LB Will Clewis Central Oklahoma

Syracuse LB Jameel McClain has a private workout scheduled with the Philadelphia Eagles for either April 9 or April 10

Damn Tampa took Dexter too early. This list turned out pretty pointless, we took DeSean Jackson. Franklin Dunbar

That is a very brash prediction. I don't now if he makes it to our third, there are a lot of teams looking hard at him, plus I don't know if the Eagles really covet him as much as some of the other WRs in the draft.

Lots of guy that stick out among those. Otah is a possibility in the first, and McGlynn and Keith are later round possibilities. Finley is intriguing, he has the most upside of any of the TEs. Not really big on the punters, as there really aren't any punters who seem that they would be an upgrade over Rocca. Never heard of Gian Villante, so I guess I will have to look up some stuff on him. Will Clewis is interesting. He seems like a sleeper to me. He would be a great late round pick at LB who would add depth.

I too am a big fan of Franklin. Someone will get a great WR when they pick him. He may have a James Jones type year. Franklin could certainly develop into a great #2 option at WR, depending on who is around him. If the Eagles havn't selected a WR by the fourth round, I would love him as our pick there. He is one of the few mid to late round WRs that would be worth the Eagles drafting IMO, mainly because we need an upgrade in the top of our WRs, but he is the only mid to late round WR that I see doing that, IMO.

Will Franklin would be an exellent pick for the Eagles, he has a great personality and is really one of the most underrated players in the draft IMO.

That was just a completely pointless post, just because something enters your head doesn't mean that it should be posted.

    Recent prospects receiving interest:
    Dowayne Davis- SS, Syracuse
    Antwaun Molden- CB, Eastern Kentucky
    Dexter Jackson- WR, Appalachian State
    Albert Young- RB, Iowa
