My prediction is of course an Eagles win. I do not believe that the Panthers defense can stop the Eagles offense, the Eagles have a ton of weapons and the Panthers cannot account for them all, this year you've got to account for 7 capable receivers, 2 big time weapons at RB, a weapon at FB, a weapon at TE and now a wildcat weapon. The offense is just to good for the Panthers defense. All the offensive line has to do is give McNabb a couple seconds and someone will be open, and it isn't like that is totally out of the question because the only legit pass rusher they have is Julius Peppers.
On defense there are question marks but I think the difference between the Eagles offense and the Panthers defense is greater than that of the Eagles defense and the Panthers offense.
And the Panthers have never, not once in their entire history put together back to back winning seasons.
I see a relatively close game, as The Panthers offense is pretty good, has the potential to be top 5 in the NFC at least. Fortunately for us, their strength on offense is our defense's strength. We should be able to slow down their run game enough that we can take advantage of their defense, which besides Peppers and Beason, is not very strong.
