  • Jauron to the Eagles staff

The Nfl post announced today that Dick Jauron is going to the Philadelphia Eagles. It is believed that he will be the db coach, in Philly. He held that post in GB, with Holmgrem asa coach and Andy was there as well.

Nice hiring, I know he and Bobby April are good friends so that might have had something to do with it.

I dont mind this at all. He is definitely welcome.

Maybe if we could get Leslie Frazier as DC....

He is a good Monday to Saturday guy but was absolutely lost when it comes to making decisions. Good thing he wont have to make many decisions if any.

        Thanks Eaglez.Fan

I agree with everyone so far, I think its a good pick up. Should help out Macho or who ever is the S. Also I forgot to add that the Eagles did not have a DB coach prior to adding Dick J.

Odd hiring, he is a very good secondary coach but he is a cover 2 guy and the Eagles are a man to man scheme for the most part. Interesting move, fantastic secondary coach who has coached many good defensive backs like Jabari Greer, Terrence McGee, Leodis McKelvin, Donte Whitner and most recently Jairus Byrd and Ellis Lankster who look like they were coached well early on and are on their way to becoming studs.

I love this hiring. The Eagles have lost a lot of good coaches (Childress, Castillo, and Harbough) and its good to restock. Jauron is a very good secondary and brings some added experience as a former head coach. His hiring along with the new special teams cordinator and Phil Savage are good moves to make.

                sounds like Andy Reid.
