    Willie Reid-My sleeper WR

I'm very excited to have Willie healthy and ready to return kicks this year, but I think he might surprise as a WR. He was solid in pre season and TC last year catching balls and I honestly feel he could see the field more at WR.

Potential WR depth chart by end of season:
    Ward
    Holmes
    Reid
    Washington
    Baker

    Ced gets cut.

I know it might seem like a stretch, but does anyone else see the potential in this kid as a slot WR?

    Honestly,

This is the first draft of the Colbert Regime where I think every pick could make the roster... whether PS or 53 man squad.. they'll all be around.. including some UDFA's.

yeah supposedly the special teams coach said that he expects Willie and Holmes to handle KR and PR. He said that Willie would be the number one guy though. And Colclough did return em for a little while last year but he had about the same production every else did, then he got a neck injury and went to IR. But yeah santonio did seem to get better at it as the season went on. I just hope Willie Reid stays healthy.
So what is the deal with this running back we got? He seems like he'd be a power runner. What's his deal?
I am really excited about Dallas Baker. He was our go to guy at florida. He just jumps up and grabs it. He's saved us in sooo many games. I hope he'll make his way into the top 4-5

I liked our first two picks quite a bit this year.

I think its promising that the Steelers say Russell is down to 217 already, and he was 229 at the combine. I think that once they get him back on a structured workout plan he'll come around.

I think we will again have many cuts after the fourth round. I hope Dallas Baker and Gary Russel make the team but i think they will go the way Fred Gibson and Cedric Humes
I don't think that is going to happen. I am actually very excited about the whole draft, but especially the last day. The DL coach said that McBean is a project, but he has a better motor and lot more motivation than Orien Harris did.

Spaeth had great production in college and likely would have gone a lot sooner if not for the shoulder injury, which is supposed to have healed up nicely.

Gary Russell is someone that I am excited about. I think that he will have his motivation issues worked out and really want to play hard and get in shape. The guy had a 1,200 yard season with 18 touchdowns while sharing the load with Maroney, and in the Big Ten no less. That's impressive and it far outweighs anything that Humes ever did. I think Russell will pan out nicely.

As far as Baker, I don't know. But he looked very good in the national championship game and you don't call someone "the touchdown maker" for just anything.

I'm happy. I wasn't at first but I am getting more and more so. I can't wait to see what LaBeau will do with Timmons and Woodley. These guys bring a huge presence to the special teams immediately, but also on 3rd down when we can allow Harrison and Haggans to get more rested.

I'm very excited.. Let's go Steelers!

yeah I agree with you there. I do think that it might be a bit of risk having him play too much WR, but I do think he has potential there. If he does a great job as a KR and a PR then we might not want to risk it.

I still like Nate at the slot.

If Willie can stay healthy and that's a big if, then I think he can be a great kr/pr. Kind of like Jermaine Lewis was for the Ravens, I think Willie could be like that to the steelers
