  • I lost a bid for a Brent Jones 49ers jersey on Ebay. I'm pissed about it. I refused to go above $150. Someone ended up paying $170 for it. If it was an away jersey I would have threw down more. Damn.

Hmmm, just curious. Why would you pay more for an away jersey?

I think they can go with anything better. A red jersey and jeans doesn't look as good with a white jersey and jeans in my opinion. Not to mention most people have a home jersey. I also have a red 49ers sweater I could put under the white jersey and it would look good.

        • I think that the Niners now boast the best LB core in the league. Definitely an elite group with Willis combined with the continued emergence of Bowman and Brooks, with Aldon Smith really coming on the last month.

I recently bought to t-shirts off NFL.com, the first Niner shirts I've ever purchased (all the ones I wear are my father's from the 1980s. one says 3-time superbowl winning 49ers, and the other says superbowl XIX champs). Both the 80s ones fit perfectly, the new ones didnt shrink and fit like potato sacks.

            ******* weak.

All the Reebok gear is such crap. I can't wait for Nike and New Era to take over all the team gear next season. Only thing I order is Mitchell & Ness off NFL.com.

Nike is just as bad. Overpriced crap.

                • Despite the Niners 6-1 record, many on here seem to be into the numbers and how the Niners are winning. Maiocco (aided bi A.S.B.) breaks down what the Niners are doing the best (and leading the league) in.

                  • If you notice things are really going our way with random things in the game. Like Goldson catching that deep interception the other day. Or Crabtree's ball going out of bounds when he caught that long pass. Funny how this always happens to the good teams.

Yes and no. It's just that when the result is a win, the negative "what-ifs" aren't remembered.

The Browns recovered 3 of their own fumbles, and Culliver and Whitner dropped easy Ints. In the past, the 49ers likely lose, and we'd all be upset that we didn't make any of those obvious turnover possibilities.

                        Winning cures all ills.

Depends on where you go. I saw we were number 2 on ESPN and CBS.

                          • Isn't it weird that the 49ers (or any NFC West team) currently has the second best record in the NFL, tied with nobody?

                            • Its not our fault the NFC West sucks. Quite honestly, I couldnt be happier right now. Present time brings me back to the goold old days when we dominated our division every year. Hopefully, 2011 re-starts the good old days.

And who cares about power rankings??? I dont. I only care about wins and losses. Hopefully, we'll beat the Redskins and the Giants. Doing so will give us an excellent chance at winning the number two seed, a bye and a home playoff game. :)

I'm so happy that not even Ness and his Alex Smith bashing can stop it. LMAO. Just joking bud. Haha. :)

The Brian Sabean sig is no more. I disagreed with you on so many levels. And then you went out and built a dynasty. I am lame.
