Julio Jones wouldn't, but yeah AJ Green would.

    • Spags is a defensive minded coach but give him enough good pass rushers and good corners and he'll build a strong defense, I think if you guys can nab Green or Floyd that would set that offense up really nicely. Then spend the rest of your picks on defensive lineman and a RB. That offense would need another year to really start clicking which gives you one more draft to load up the defense.

      • No deal with Rams and OJ Atogwe and no new tender. The safety is an unrestricted free agent.

A classy guy, but no where near worth the money the Rams would of had to pay him. Very overrated as a player.

          • The St. Louis Rams remain the favorites to sign safety Oshiomogho Atogwe, even after their failure to reach a contract agreement with him Tuesday night allowed him to become a free agent, according to two sources familiar with the situation. One of the sources, who has spoken with Rams management in recent days, said negotiations between the sides have remained amicable even in the absence of an agreement. And even though the Miami Dolphins are making a strong push, the environment remains favorable for a deal that would return Atogwe to St. Louis.

            • 49ers trade Isaac Bruce back to the Rams so he can retire a Ram...

The St. Louis Rams acquired Bruce from the 49ers on Monday so that he will be able to retire a Ram. It’s a ceremonial move to add Bruce to the roster. He isn’t expected to actually suit up and play.

The Rams and Bruce have scheduled a press conference for 12:30 p.m. Wednesday.

                I applaud this move.

                • The injury suffered by St. Louis Rams offensive lineman Mark Setterstrom during practice Friday at minicamp has been diagnosed as a torn triceps muscle. Setterstrom, a seventh-round draft pick in 2006, already has come back from two major knee injuries.

Coach Steve Spagnuolo said Setterstrom, who had the same injury near the end of last season, so far had not made a decision about whether to have surgery or let the muscle try to heal on its own. If Setterstrom does opt for surgery, he probably would miss the 2010 season.
                  http://interact.stltoday.com/blogzon...st-for-season/

So just to keep track, Setterstrom is the fourth Rams lineman - LT Smith (stress fracture in toe), LG Bell (knee scope), RT Saffold (knee sprain) - to miss some or all of minicamps/OTAs due to injury.

                    • Another good job by the Rams this off season bringing back Atogwe.

What are some thoughts about taking the BYU runningback in the supplemental draft. He is a big back that runs hard and we might only have to give up a 5th rounder for him.

We will have to give up more than a 5th rounder. Im still not sure what I think about the Atogwe signing.

                          • Harvey Unga got picked in the supplemental draft today by the Bears for a 7th round pick. Why not give up a 7th round pick for this guy. I think the Rams missed out on this guy. We have no back-up running back to Steven Jackson, who is not in the best of health. So if he goes down we have no one. Unga if he would have stayed in school and come out next year in the draft he would have been a 3rd round or better draft pick.

Perhaps the Rams aren't convinced he'd bring anything to the table that they don't already have.

                              • Danario Alexander is almost clear medically and Billy Devaney said they would take a long look at him to bring him in. Alexander is a big Target at 6'4 so he is something the Rams need. All the other WR on the roster are under 6'2.
