Wow. What the hell is going on? I wasn't impressed with Walter's performances, but our franchise QB is coming off a season ending knee injury and all we have behind him is a rookie UDFA. We need to make a trade now, if the price is right I would like to see us go after Thigpen.

With Cassel being injured now... I doubt he comes at a reasonable price

It is strange, but perhaps they're expecting a QB to hit waivers from some other team. EDIT: Or not . . . per linked article "Hoyer was impressive in the Patriots' regular-season finale against the Giants, and the Patriots are not expected to trade for or sign another veteran QB."

I don't really like to rely on the slim odds of Brady missing time 2 seasons in a row, though.

My guess is they really had a hard time cutting someone at another position . . . perhaps we carry 5 rbs?

The Patriots are way too confident in their ability to develop diamond in the rough QBs.

pats going after the odd man out with the saints? (harrington probably)

            Saints 2014 draft wish list:
            - No pass rusher till the fourth round (or preferably at all)
            - Corner or Wideout in the first
            - No reaching
            - No Kelvin Benjamin
