  • Adailius Thomas stating INSIDE linebacker

Reading over this ESPN article and it says AT is listed as starting SILB. Even though everyone is used at multiple positions, this means Vrabel is getting bumped back outside.

Pretty cool article. I can't wait to see him play.

The Globe noted several times during mini camp that Thomas , though moved around to several spots, spent a majority of his time inside. He probably needs the looks inside more than outside at this point. It is more a matter of building the flexibility of the group at this stage. In passing situations, he is the better rusher (comparing him to Vrabel). I would expect to see him outside as a rush end in those sits.

I had heard that Thomas could play pretty much anywhere on the field so this seems ok to me. But would we rather have the younger guy on the inside and keep the aging Vrabel outside?

Thanks to Bone Krusher for the sig

Adalius will be a beast wherever he plays. He may start inside, but he certainly won't be sitting there throughout the game. He and Vrabel's versatility will make for some very interesting blitzing situations.

This is what I said would happen all along, and it makes sense. To think, people gave me crap for listing him inside on my Pats depth chart :p

No knocking my boy Bruschi. I actually met him when he came to buffalo last year. Bruschi is my boy. Favorite LB of all time. Liked him all along, but really took a liking to him during the 2001 season. I have 3 of his jerseys. Dont know why I said that but i did.lol.

You guys have great versatility with blitzing. Plus a 270 pound frame in the middle will help w/ run support also.
