  • Jackson Signed, Four Released

    http://buccaneers.com/news/newsdetail.aspx?newsid=5840

Like usual, terms were not disclosed but at least we've started signing the rooks and with four guys being cut looks like a few more signings in the next few weeks.

Grr, that's quite the investment but I hate Darby so I'm in.

          Why the hate?

Darby has to beat out Graham before he gets signed. I don't think he does

No, just no. He has to be signed to even be allowed in camp.

All rookies get signed at one point or the other, the question is whether or not they will be cut before the 53-man is decided.

I don't like Darby because he's boring. No elusiveness or breakaway speed, and he's definitely not better than Pittman or Graham at special teams. He's just your typical average WCO back IMO.

I agree, he is just your average player really and his draft status clearly indicated that. He may prove to be a valuable change-of-pace type guy but even that is a big maybe.

Well everyone was wrong, it was Hamilton. Anyone think he has a shot at the roster?

Only Ghettosermon would've guessed. If he's better than Ronde was in training camp as a rookie he's got a legit shot.

I think his only chance will be as the #5 guy where he will be competing with the likes of Zemaitas and Davis.
