  • Good News on Plummer

The Tampa Tribune reports that the NFL has not received retirement papers from Jake Plummer, the former Broncos quarterback whose trade to the Bucs could be nullified if it's proved he retired before the trade was completed. Plummer might have to pay back roughly $5 million in prorated signing bonus money if he retires. That money would go to the team holding Plummer's rights.

Either we get our pick back or we get 5 million back.....

Even though it may not have sounded like it, I think Allen knew what he was doing the whole time.

If CJ is off the board, yes, if not, no.

He will have retired by then, but if CJ is gone we will take full advantage of the 15 minutes allotted to pick.

Plummer hasn't filed his retirement papers and it is common belief that he probably will not file them. He just doesn't want to be a Buccaneers.
