Things that jump out at me:
1: No shortened week games, all of them on Sunday.
2: The only really scary away games are Seattle, Indy, and New Orleans.
3: If we win .500%$ or more of our away games the rest of our schedule looks pretty easy?

If we go 2-4 in our division, it will be tough to make a 9-7 record.

I would say that week 2 against NO could be a W, but that would give us an 8-0 record at home.

10-6 with an undefeated record at home sounds nice, but I can't see it happening.

I think the 4 game stretch before the bye week will def give us a shot to match our entire win total in 2006. This considering a rejuvinated Caddy, improved OL, young faces on defense (and a healthy Simeon), along with a dynamic rookie on either offense (CJ) or defense (Adams, Okoye, Carriker, Landry, or someone).....

I think 9-7 is realistic, even if we only win 2 or 3 games in the division

I just hope a 1-4 start (which seems likely) would not force Gruden to make the switch to Garcia (assuming Simms is the opening day starter)

Wins(In order): Seattle, St. Louis, Tennesee, Detroit, Jacksonville, Arizona, Washington, Houston, San Fran, Carolina(Home),

              Total Record: 10-6

This is of course assuming we improve our Defense through the draft.

IMO, their's no such thing as an easy game in the NFL, and after last year's dissapointing season, I'm not allowing myself to get overly optomistic, we're in a tough Division, and outside of the NFC South, any one of those teams on our schedule could beat us, we're in for a long tough year.

8-8 is my prediction right now.

Week 1 @Seattle could be tough. Petitgout really struggled against the 'Hawks when he played for NY and I think we will struggle. Simms will be in the dirt and in long-yardage situations, but I think he will rebound in our next 2 home games and secure his job. We end the season with 4 very winnable games, hopefully we don't struggle against SF again (I think we will). The bye week will give us time to prepare for Atlanta, and that's where we will pull off the upset on the road. Gruden is a tremendous gameplanner with time at hand.

Most importantly, we get more revenge with Washington at home, again! That's where Simms will pad up his stats for Pro Bowl consideration.

It is also being a slight homer :)

If we go 10-6 I will be extremely happy. I'm expecting something more like 6-9 wins. Even with all the new additions in the draft it will probably take a year or so before we are serious contenders again. Hopefully I can be proved wrong though.

10-6 is probably gonna be the max, frankly, I'd be happy with 7-9.

I'm not as concerned with our record as I am with our level of play. I'd be happy as a 7-9 team if our starters were solid for the most part. I want to see Simms reach his potential, Cadillac return to form, and the same for Clayton. I expect small improvements, and I want to see us compete in every single game. Blowouts are no fun, and I'd be content with 9 losses of >7points.

i could see us getting to the bye week at 2-7 or 3-6
