  • Titans' List of Visiting Draft Prospects

I'd put this in Voodoo's Draft thread, but since this is a site will tons of amateur mockers, having a thread for our visiting players will help them with their Titans pick in their next mock draft - particularly in 2nd Day picks.

Players the Titans have brought in or are scheduled to bring in to interview pre-Draft

CB - Darius Butler (Connecticut) - (3/30 - 4/3) - reported by Nashville City Paper
    CB - Jarius Byrd (Oregon) - (4/6 - 4/10) - reported by Tennessean
CB - Malcolm Jenkins (Ohio State) - (TBA) - reported by Pro Football Talk
    CB - D.J. Moore (Vanderbilt) - (4/1) - reported by Tennessean
CB - Lardarius Webb (Nicholls State) - (TBA) - reported by Nashville City Paper

DE - Connor Barwin (Cincinnati) - (TBA) - reported by Nashville City Paper
DE - Everette Pedescleaux (Northern Iowa) - (TBA) - reported by Nashville City Paper
DE - David Veikune (Hawaii) - (4/6 - 4/10) - reported by Nashville City Paper

LB - Clay Matthews (USC) - (4/13 - 4/17) - reported by Nashville City Paper and Tennessean
    LB - Rey Maualuga (USC) - (4/13 - 4/17) - reported by Tennessean
LB - Lawrence Sidbury (Richmond) - (TBA) - reported by Nashville City Paper
LB - Jason Williams (Western Illinois) - (TBA) - reported by Nashville City Paper and Tennessean

OL - Cornelius Lewis (Tennessee State) - reported by Tennessean
OL - Cecil Newton (Tennessee State) - (3/30 - 4/3) - reported by Nashville City Paper and Tennessean

QB - Josh Freeman (Kansas State) - (4/1) reported by Nashville City Paper

RB - Andre Brown (NC State) - (TBA) - reported by Nashville City Paper
RB - Glenn Coffee (Alabama) - reported by Tennessean
    RB - Jeremiah Johnson (Oregon) - (4/6 - 4/10) - reported by Tennessean
    RB - Javon Ringer (Michigan State) - (4/6 - 4/10) - reported by Tennessean
RB - Javarris Williams (Tennessee State) - reported by Tennessean

S - Reshard Langford (Vanderbilt) - reported by Tennessean

    TE - Shawn Nelson (Southern Miss) - (4/6 - 4/10) - reported by Tennessean

WR - Kenny Britt (Rutgers) - (TBA) - reported by Tennesseean
WR - Demetrius Byrd (LSU) - (4/8) - reported by Tennesseean
WR - Percy Harvin (Florida) - (TBA) - reported by Tennesseean
WR - Darrius Hayward-Bey (Maryland) - (4/1) - reported by Nashville City Paper
WR - Mohamed Massaquoi (Georgia) - (4/6) - reported by Tennessean and Scout.com
WR - Marko Mitchell (Nevada) - (3/30 - 4/3) - reported by Nashville City Paper and Tennessean
    WR - Hakeem Nicks (UNC) - (4/6 - 4/11) - reported by Tennesseean
WR - Patrick Turner (USC) - (TBA) - reported by Nashville City Paper
WR - Mike Wallace (Ole Miss) - (3/30 - 4/3) - reported by Nashville City Paper and Tennessean
Vanderbilt players DJ Moore and Rashard Langford, and Tennessee State players Javarris Williams, Cornelius Lewis, and Cecil Newton don't count against the limit of 30.

Look for DT Everette Pedescleaux to be another William Hayes type pick that makes mockers go, "WTF?^^" while other NFL GM's go, "Shoot, he almost fell to us." Pedescleaux is a 6'6, 300-lb athletic DT who fits our scheme.

Why would we bring in Malcolm Jenkins and not Alphonso Smith? Doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me. MJ will be long gone by our pick.

He must be their #1 CB. Lots of teams are wanting to trade down, so perhaps they're keeping open the option of trading up if he's there in the late-teens or early-twenties?

Both he and Butler are their only 1st RD CB's. After them, there's Webb and Byrd who are later RD guys. Plus, free visit in DJ Moore - since Moore is a 2nd RD guy, I assume he was there because he was local rather than because he's a target.

Right now, it looks like WR is the odds on 1st RD pick percentage-wise with DHB, Harvin, Britt, and Nicks.

It would be sweet if we traded up to get MJ. We've never traded up in the first as far as I can remember. Oh, and thanks for the sig help. You're a gentleman and a scholar.

Yeah, ole Floyd "Cap'n Trade Down" Reese.

MR's only had two Drafts, and he's never had a pick this late. Griffin was at 19, and CJ was at 24 - and he scored every time.

It's the Draft G-spot, if you will...
