I knew Meecham could run that fast, but I did not know that Calvin Johnson would run 4.35 (using someone else shoes). I think the Titans should do anything in their power to get CJ. This guys has a 45" vertical. I would trade up to the number 4 pick if CJ is still on the clock.

I'd love to have CJ on the Titans, but it's virtually impossible to move up from #19 to the top 5. Also, I think it's unlikely that the Bucs would trade out of the #4 spot if CJ was there for them to pick, so we'd probably have to trade up to either #2 (Lions) or #3 (Browns).

Assuming that we traded up to #3, according to the draft-value point chart, we'd have to give up at least something like our 1st & 2nd rounders this year, our 1st rounder next season, as well as a mid-rounder (or maybe Pacman, since we'd be unlikely to get more than a 3rd rounder for him, given his off-the-field problems).

If we had to trade up to #2 to get CJ, it would be an even greater cost.

I just don't see it happening...

        • Here's my realistic wishlist for the draft.

          1. Dwayne Jarrett, WR, USC
          2. Josh Wilson, CB, Maryland
          3. Ikaika Alama-Francis, DE/DT, Hawaii
          4. Brian Robison, DE, Texas
          4. John Wendling, S, Wyoming
          5. Steve Smith, WR, USC
          6. Chase Johnson, OT, Wyoming
          6. Dan Santucci, OG, Notre Dame
          6. Garrett Wolfe, RB, Northen Illinois
          7. Uche Nwaneri, OG, Purdue
          7. Jared Zabransky, QB, Boise State
          7. Isiah Stanback, QB/WR, Washington

          Thoughts?

          • Steve Smith is a 2nd-3rd rounder, Garrett Wolfe might go undrafted.

I'd love to take a chance on Garrett Wolfe late in the draft. He's definitely undersized, but he's a gamer who could be a good 3rd-down RB, given his shiftiness and pass-catching abilities.

While the Titans seem set at starting RB with Henry and long-term RB with White; however, they lack a pass-catching, situational RB--a role that Wolfe could fill. Plus, he could probably return kicks (which we made need depending on what happens with Pacman).

                • Does anybody see us taking a shot at acquiring Donte Stallworth? Or do y'all think we will draft a wr in the 1st? because Chow has said he needs a receiver

                    • Well for are sake, this season Fisher will finally open up the battle for the other starting Safety spot this training camp.

Vincent Fuller (I think he could be a pretty good player)
Lamont Thompson (Why is he still on the team???)
Bryan Scott (Just a small improvement if any over LT)
Calvin Lowry (Hard hitter from penn st)
