  • Definitely not down for trading for Tebow, especially not multiple picks. Need as many picks as possible. We should be trading for picks.

If I liked Tebow more and if we still had the 2 Mcnabb picks than maybe I could see considering it.

    • i doubt it is a realistic option at this point. all im saying is id prefer a combo of tebow + julio/blackmon/dareus/quinn to a combo of locker/gabbert + baldwin/floyd/oline/dline

      • Yea but there is no guarantee we take a QB in the first anyways. I think the Skins(or Allen for that matter) are smarter than taking Locker or Gabbert at 10, I hope.

        • Dareus IMO is the best pick for us. Fairley will get all the hype and deservedly so as I think he should go #1 but Dareus also is an extremely dominating gamechanging lineman and he is a better 5 tech fit than even Fairley. Assuming guys like Bowers, Peterson, Newton, Fairley, Green I'd be fine with any of Dareus, Prince, Julio, or Blackmon. Those are really the only 4 I'm looking at. Wouldn't be sad either if we took Mallett but I'm not 100% on him.

          • Yea I can't see Newton falling now.

I'm with you STRIP, I'd love to get Dareus as well if Shanny doesn't like the QBs that drop to 10.

            • cant argue dareus is probably the guy i want most at 10 right now with the idea that aj green has no shot at dropping. guys though rising up my board include jj watt, kerrigan, and heyward.

              • Dareus, Prince, Quinn, Julio or Gabbert come on down. Not quite sold on Locker yet but maybe I'll be swayed by April.

                • I'd still consider Julio at #10 as I feel like D-line is so strong in the draft. I love WR's like Jernigan, Torrey, Titus, etc, but we already have our small deep threat in Armstrong. Julio and Baldwin are the only day 1 prospects who have the size and ability to work the inside. Baldwin I am iffy on in that aspect. I just really love what Julio brings and honestly don't have him that far behind AJ Green. He doesn't have that speed or vertical ability but he's so damn strong with the ball in his hands.

Blackmon and it's not even close, he's staying in school though so moot point.

                      • I meant who did you mean in your post. But damn, just saw the Blackmon thing, guess he thinks they have a shot at the NC cant blame him, I am sad though.

Jones is definitely a better prospect, I've been on Blackmon for a while but Jones has such a higher ceiling. Very dangerous with the ball in his hands which is definitely something we're missing, can go up and get it too with his frame.

                        • My bad I was comparing Julio's vertical ability to AJ Green's.

                            • I like the trade back and the first two picks although Moch could struggle early on in his career. Todman would be good value as well and is definitely a sleeper but I'd like to see what his 40 time is like. Might prefer a guy like Murray if he was available.

Mochs disruption reminds me of Clay Mathews. He has crazy versatility to rush the passer from anywhere or drop into coverage. I think we'd be lucky to get him at the top of the 2nd when its all said and done. I like Murray too but im sick of drafting players with injury concerns.
